the Tangent game

Thu Aug 23, 2007 3:35 am

This was one of my favorite improv games.

Basically one person starts by telling a short little bit about whatever.

for example:
I like to go dancing on Saturday nights. Its always really fun.

Then its the next person's job to branch off of that in a new direction.
example: Dancing should always be done in the nude. we're born naked, we might as well dance naked.

next person: I was born on a Thursday. What a borning day.

etc.

It gets really random and quite funny. But its hard sometimes too. but thats the joys of improv!

lets begin. shall we?

Waiter, there's a fly in my soup...and I'm not entirely sure he find's it appitizing either.

I'm scared of the dark. There's creepy things that go bump in the dark.

This looks like fun...and no, I'm not *really* scared of the dark.

Dark is the opposite of light. Sunlight creeps across the bumpy hills in the morning.

A moment? A moment is the product of the force and the perpendicular distance from the force and the pivot!
