SSBB = Super Smash Brothers Brawl
To all of those interested in joining, there are no sign ups. You can just start playing right off the bat. If you need additional help, I am here most of the time and more than willing to try to help as much as possible.

Story as of now:

The Metroids drain Ryu and Tina for -3 damage each. The Redeads glom Donkey Kong for -2 damage. The Zu swoops down, but Reno freezes it with a Stop spell.
Reno: Let’s see... my chocobo, Falco, and a Zu... Yeah. We have too many big, ugly birds.
Falco: Hey!
The chocobo squawks, bucks, and nearly drops Reno. Reno uses the boost to leap up and slay the Zu.
Reno: Okay. One down... one to go... Falco! Get over here!
Falco: Hell no!
Reno: Come on! Beatrix, you’re his leader. Give me the bird!
All of Team Sephiroth resists the urge to laugh. Reno looks at them seriously. Captain Falcon starts chuckling and soon all of the team is on the ground laughing. Yuna slowly start walking over to Reno.
Paine: Yuna. Don’t.
Yuna: Just giving him what he wants. :D

Snake is armed with an automatic rifle. He is firing at everything that moves. Behind him is a trail of bodies.
Snake: EXTERMINATE!
Meta Knight: You idiot! Those are tranquilizer darts! At least he is not killing anyone...
Snake: Pauses. Thinks. ASSIMILATE!
Meta Knight’s position is shot full of darts as Snake continues his rampage. Pit flies by and draws Snake’s attention. Snake gives chase, shooting any spectator he passes.
Meta Knight: That idiot.
Munro: Which one?
Meta Knight: Where have you been?
Munro: Helping the wounded, like I am supposed to.
Meta Knight: Let the others handle that. Your weapons are needed elsewhere.
Munro: He should only have five or six more shots left.
Meta Knight: Unless he emptied the armory before starting the attack.
Munro: Sighs. Let’s go.
Munro picks up his I-MOD and starts heading after Snake.

The GM is once again searching his office once more. Rufus wheels in to talk.
Rufus: Sir, what are you doing?
GM: That new Dressphere. Geez! I am losing everything I am paying for!
Rufus: Maybe you shouldn’t buy such expensive things.
GM: Or I could just cut the senior staff’s salaries...
Rufus: I’ll start asking around if anyone has seen it.

0500/1700 Rule: Regardless of when the last update occurred, you may make actions after 5AM/PM your time zone. There is no need to wait for an update to make an action, but it is recommended. Any actions that break this rule will not count as a legal action and will be promptly (eventually) pointed out. If you miss one of the posting periods, you will not get an extra move. Super Smash Attacks (SSA): SSA actions are powerful, character-specific moves with special effects. They can only be activated two ways and usually involve the character being removed from the game (see below) for a short time. The SSA use counter does not reset until all characters have used their SSA. To activate: either use a Smash Emblem or buy it with some points. They may not be ready at the start of the game, but I’ll finish them as soon as possible.

Removed from the Game (RFG): Unlike in Magic: The Gathering, this is not a permanent effect. Characters removed from the game cannot attack or heal but cannot be targeted. They return to play after a set amount of rounds. At least three characters will remain in play at all times.

Special Character - Gogo: Due to Gogo’s unique nature, I will post his information every round. If there are any questions, PM me, and I will willingly help.
Gogo cannot attack or heal. He is active every round. He has only one special which he uses every round.
Special: Mime: *Gogo copies the last action done (the post above this use). *Gogo’s user may choose new targets. *If a special was used, Gogo receives -3 damage in addition to the special’s effects. *Cannot mime SSAs or actions in the GM’s posts. *Cannot be the first action of the round. *If Gogo is not used, he automatically heals for +1 HP each round, but he starts with 30 HP at the beginning of the game. *He counts as male for gender related contests.

Deep Space 9ers: +50 - Reflective Shields - All attacks directed at the members are reflected back to the attackers. Members can still attack
Dream Land: +20 - Skill Copy - Members may use any special belonging to any [Faction] member. (Check character guide or with the GM for specials)
Hyrule: +90 points - Magic Sack - Members may use any weapon unlimited times (weapon changes user after each use unless user can do unlimited attacks) (Check item guide or with the GM for items)
Independent: +0 - None (duh, they have no team)
Kongo Jungle: +20 - Monkey Friends - When a member is attacked, the attacker receives a -1 damage counterattack for every -2 damage dealt to member (counterattack is rounded down)
Mushroom Kingdom: +50 - Mega Mushroom - All members deal double damage for the rest of the round, but cannot use weapons. Negative side effects are doubled for members
Pokémon: +50 - Pokeball - A random, unused Pokeball is activated. Members are immune to the effects
Sephiroth: +50 - Summon Sephiroth - Either: a Guard Armor or Dark Trooper appear; or Sephiroth appears for the round and deals up to -20 damage distributed among the remaining characters.
Sonic: +60 - Hyper Sonic Speed - Members cannot be attacked for the rest of the round. Members may still attack.
Square Enix: +160 points - Job Change - Members may use any Dressphere that is currently not being used (Check Dressphere guide or with the GM for Dresspheres). Counts as a weapon action
Versus: +70 - Versus: Adrenaline Rush - Members may make unlimited actions. Special users may use their special twice (any given player may only use the special once)

Beatrix uses Stock Break to hit 2 Metroids for -3 damage each.

They should be dead, yes? ;)

Ramza uses the Geomancer Dressphere and has some "zipper trouble", taking -2 damage.

Auron and Shadow go out drinking but unfortuantely Shadow can't really handle Aurons homebrew and he falls over hitting his head on the floor for -3 damage.

Yuna summons a little Moogle who walks up behind Deoxys and hits for -3 damage......Deoxys then blows up the Moogle. Aww, poor little Moogle :hug:

The GM growls and throws some papers over his head.
GM: Great! Just great!
Rufus: We have been looking for a while. Maybe it is not here.
GM: I know that. I lost... something else.
Rufus: What?
GM: I was loaned a piece of Magicite recently. Now it is gone.
Rufus: Magicite?
GM: Materia on steroids. Very rare. Very valuable. Very lost.
Rufus: Uh oh.

Snake takes aim and fires. The tranquilizer dart hits Pit in the wing.
Pit: Damn...
Pit wobbles as he tries making it to a landing but falls.
Snake: Resistance is futile.
Munro: Lower your weapon, or I will shoot!
Snake turns to see Munro aiming his phaser. Meta Knight is standing by with his sword drawn.
Snake: Pauses. Thinks. ASSIMILATE!
Snake fires a light barrage of darts as he dives for cover. Munro fires burst that barely misses Snake.
Munro: Snake! You’re not really a Borg! Quit acting like an idiot, and we can help you!
Snake: Resistance is...
A phaser blast cuts Snake short. The former FOXHOUND rises and makes his way toward better cover, but a wide-angle phaser burst hits his back. Snake drops where he stands. Munro and Meta Knight cautiously advance. Snake whips his gun around and fires. The dart bounces off of Meta Knight’s armor. Munro stuns Snake again.
Munro: Get him to sickbay. I’ll handle the clean up.
Meta Knight: Will he be okay?
Munro: He should be. I just stunned him... twice. All he’ll have to deal with is a bad headache.
Meta Knight: Dang. I was hoping for something more permanent.
Meta Knight joins with another security officer in carrying Snake away.

Ramza glows for a second then summons up a Stage. A massive flock of cuccos swarm the arena.
Link: Smooth one, prince-y boy.
Roy: Wait. I thought Prince was on our team?
Link resists the urge to strangle Roy. Auron walks around the field and finds a small, glowing rock.
Auron: What have we here?
Leviathan bursts from the Magicite.
Auron: Fascinating.
Leviathan calls forth a Tsunami that damages Shadow, Black Mage, Marth, Kasumi, and Sol for -2 damage each. Blaze then throws a hissy [bad pun] and claws Squall and Chun-li for -1 damage each.

D: Pit contemplates the relative impediment of falling down a bottomless pit even though it isn't a bottomless pit, just a fall, but he ends up doing this every single time anyway, like if it's bottomless, if you take everything you need with you, you should be fine like if it was a big enough hole and you chucked a whole farm down there even though he is falling he would live out the rest of his days farming a falling farm. Unfortunately as always this makes him start philosophising and he wonders whether if the whole universe was thrown down a bottomless pit would anyone notice? Then he's like "Bottomless Pit...I should get a T-Shirt for when I go to the Steakhou...*WHUMP*

Unfortunately he lands on a Cucco's nest.

To all of those interested in joining, there are no sign ups. You can just start playing right off the bat. If you need additional help, I am here most of the time and more than willing to try to help as much as possible.

Story as of now:

Peach heals for +4 HP. Aerith heals herself for +3 HP and heals Cloud and Squall for +1 HP each. Roy finds a Pokeball and frees Matadogas from inside. The poison Pokémon uses Poison Gas to sting Mr Game & Watch, Yoshi, Terry, and Simon for -2 damage each.
Koopa: Roars. Koopa smash!
Koopa tries crushing the Cactuar, but misses
Wario: Cackles. Wario crush!
Wario misses his smash against the Cactuar.
DK: Grunts and throws an unknown, unmentionable substance.
The unknown, unmentionable substance hits the Cactuar. The little cactus screams and dies. Donkey Kong pounds his chest, and he and Diddy start hurling unknown, unmentionable substances all over the field as their Faction Ability activates.

Snake awakes in the infirmary. Meta Knight, Munro and Emeralda are standing nearby. Pit is in another bed with a bandaged wing.
Emeralda: Hiya!
Snake: What happened?
Meta Knight: You’re an idiot. That is what happened.
Snake: I had this weird dream where I was a Borg and was assimilating people.
Munro: You got a nanomachine infection from the Dark Trooper wreckage. You, apparently thinking you were assimilated yourself, then went on a rampage until you were subdued. We then removed the nanomachines from you, even though they were completely harmless, in hopes you would return to normal.
Snake: Do I still hate you guys?
Meta Knight and Munro nod.
Snake: Then I feel normal. How did you get the nanomachines out?
Emeralda give Snake a big kiss.
Emeralda: That is how!
Snake: Well, I can’t complain about that.
Emeralda smiles and cuddles up to Snake.
Snake: Looks at Emeralda briefly. Uh... Okay, what happened to bird boy?
Pit: What happened to me! I’ll tell you what happened to me. First you shot me with a tranq dart. I started falling while...

Back in the infirmary.
Pit: Then WHAM! I landed in a crate full of cuccos... angry cuccos... angry, rabid, blood-thirsty cuccos that get specifically agitated if someone falls on them. That is what happened to me!
Snake: Stare blankly at pit then looks at the nearest doctor. So I am okay now, right?
Pit yells then starts trying to get up to attack Snake.

Specials follow the same format where appropriate.

Specials and weapons should be used before regular attacks can be used.

Special users can defeat one 1 or 2 HP NPC of their choice in addition to their special use (meaning without targeting the NPC with the special).

Super Smash Attacks (SSA): SSA actions are powerful, character-specific moves with special effects. They can only be activated two ways and usually involve the character being removed from the game (see below) for a short time. The SSA use counter does not reset until all characters have used their SSA. To activate: either use a Smash Emblem or buy it with some points. They may not be ready at the start of the game, but I’ll finish them as soon as possible.

Removed from the Game (RFG): Unlike in Magic: The Gathering, this is not a permanent effect. Characters removed from the game cannot attack or heal but cannot be targeted. They return to play after a set amount of rounds. At least three characters will remain in play at all times.

Special Character - Gogo: Due to Gogo’s unique nature, I will post his information every round. If there are any questions, PM me, and I will willingly help.
Gogo cannot attack or heal. He is active every round. He has only one special which he uses every round.
Special: Mime: *Gogo copies the last action done (the post above this use). *Gogo’s user may choose new targets. *If a special was used, Gogo receives -3 damage in addition to the special’s effects. *Cannot mime SSAs or actions in the GM’s posts. *Cannot be the first action of the round. *If Gogo is not used, he automatically heals for +1 HP each round, but he starts with 30 HP at the beginning of the game. *He counts as male for gender related contests.

Mushroom Kingdom: +50 - Mega Mushroom - All members deal double damage for the rest of the round, but cannot use weapons. Negative side effects are doubled for members
Pokémon: +50 - Pokeball - A random, unused Pokeball is activated. Members are immune to the effects
Sephiroth: +50 - Summon Sephiroth - Either: a Guard Armor or Dark Trooper appear; or Sephiroth appears for the round and deals up to -20 damage distributed among the remaining characters.

5 Goomba: 1/0 HP. +1 point when defeated. Deals -1 damage to one character each at the end of the round. They only appear for one round.

This Round's Faction Ability:
Kongo Jungle: Monkey Friends - When a member is attacked, the attacker receives a -1 damage counterattack for every -2 damage dealt to member (counterattack is rounded down)

Zero charges at the Iron Knuckle with the Zero Saber for -6 damage but gains too much momentum, slips and falls on his butt, taking -1 damage.

Right. (I had to look it up too). I use the Japanese names for the most part. They appear for some of the Characters (Koopa, Purin, Aerith) and for all the Pokemon. I don't remember what else at this moment.
