Being in school after hours would have normally seemed intimidating, especially in a situation like this, but somehow it was oddly exciting. The impending doom of the fact that someone was probably going to die tonight didn't frighten Apricus at all. At least, not yet. She clamored down the hallway behind a group of the others, feeling quite safe and worry-free for the moment.

She was almost positive that would change later.
