For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

Kitten Medli It suits Coltzan, himself, very much, however looking at the picture on this subtext, I'm not so sure. He has more of a "evil" look, I guess you could call it. (Okay, not evil...I'm just not sure what a good word to describe his expression is)

Amarise Even if it fits, it's just a tad long...subtexts that aren't quite so long tend to capture a reader's attention longer, rather than a long one. I do like you subtext though, but I think the subtext would have been just as good if you had used "A mighty king", "Defender of the defenceless", or "Noble in word and deed". Any of those would have been good, just not all of them.

Dawn2 Captures Coltzan in a short and simple subtext. There's not much more to say. It technically isn't 100% original, but I know your situation, so I won't judge it by that. Plus, the subtext does fit the signature well.

Twinkle Great job on this one! It really fits Coltzan, is not too long, and would be great on the signature! Again, nothing more I can say. Lovely, just lovely :)

Robert2100 It's great, really. Captures Coltzan's history, I suppose you could say. However, the picture doesn't show Coltzan as a ghost/spirits (Like here) so doesn't quite fit in with the signature that well. It's still a good subtext, so good job!

DM was on fire! This is what Coltzan says at his shrine, but like with Kitten Medli's, the expression just doesn't quite match. Coltzan doesn't exactly look like he's about to give a neopet anything they asked for, he doesn't look like he's going to give them anything at all

Ammer Wonderful, just wonderful. It really matches with Coltzan and the picture, with all the gold in there and all. I think King of Gold would have been better, as Coltzan's not really a god, but it's good all the same. Great job!

Hellyer Same goes for you what I said about DM's.

Eliminate: Kitten Medli, DM was on fire!, Hellyer

Plus, we're on the twelveth page...shouldn't we be getting a split soon...? :P

Whoops sorry Kitten Medli. If you really really want a judging I'll do one for you.

No thanks, no problem here.

Ok, my judging :) Sorry for not posting it yesterday when everyone else did, but in my defence i was feeling absolutely terrible, and you guys all finished ahead of schedule!

Kitten Medli: Always there *fade* In our hearts
A bit soppy (:P) but i like it, i dont think he has an evil look, more like a rulerly look, so it's not too bad. i wouldnt fade it thought, i'd have it all on the sig in two lines as there's all that space there.

Amarise: A mighty king,
defender of the
defenceless,
noble in word and deed.

I agree with everyone else, even thought it fits, you could have used that as three separate subtexts. i do however agree with you, the gap thats been left on the sig would definately suit a longer subtext.

Dawn2: Defender of the Downtrodden
I dont agree with the_dog_god, i think a "pinched" (as twere) quote used well is just as good as anything you could come up with yourself. you have selected something that fits the sig and it works

Twinkle: A True Legend *fades* A True King
Deff my fave twinkle, really good. no comments on it really... except the same comment about fading as i gave medli

Robert2100: A noble ruler*fade*Alive in spirit
Another really good one, although i agree with AE, he isnt dead in this image so maybe not the most appropriate subtext, but still really good. Also, see my comment in Medli's rating about fading, it applys to yours too.

DM was on fire!: What would you like, young Neopet?
i'm sorry DM, but i have to agree with everyone else, even though the coltzan is now best known for giving gifts at his shrine, its not really applicable to the image in this sig.

Ammer: God of Gold
Good. i think the mention of gold goes well with the colour scheme of the sig and the sparkles in the image. it is a little bit short for the spave provided tho... but then it would depend where abouts exactly you put it, and thats not part of this competition :)

Hellyer Here for a blessing?: *fade in* Step right up.
Sorry, but the same as DM, even tho it's a perfectly valid subtext to put on a coltzan sig, its not really quite right for this particular image. sorry!

Eliminate: (i hate this bit!) Kitten Medli, DM, Hellyer (sorry!)

Yeah, I was really unsure about the fading. I wanted the sub yo have a pause between the two parts, and I thought the fade could do it, but I wasn't sure how well 0_o

Oooh a Lion...Grrrrr :P

My Subtext:

The Eyes Of A Hunter

Thu Jan 27, 2005 11:35 pm

Beauty... or Beast?

Thank God it wasn't a Neopets image!

Actually, I'd just like to explain my reasoning behind this subtext. I was looking at the lions eyes thinking how beautiful they were but then a started wondering, what exactly was the lion looking at? A pretty little zebra perhaps?

Yep, it's gone by pretty fast.

Also, I changed deadline dates since there's only 5 people left. We might get all the subtexts today :P

A tad. :P I find them so hard as I don't play Neopets anymore and never really kept up with the plots back then, let alone now! Heh, watch if I scrape past this round the next one will be a Neopets image.
