Super Smash Attacks (SSA): SSA actions are powerful, character-specific moves with special effects. They can only be activated two ways and usually involve the character being removed from the game (see below) for a short time. The SSA use counter does not reset until all characters have used their SSA. To activate: either use a Smash Emblem or buy it with some points. Characters that still have an available SSA are marked with the Yen symbol (¥)

Removed from the Game (RFG): Unlike in Magic: The Gathering, this is not a permanent effect. Characters removed from the game cannot attack or heal but cannot be targeted. They return to play after a set amount of rounds. At least three characters will remain in play at all times.

Defeated - Kongo Jungle: +20 - Monkey Friends - When a member is attacked, the attacker receives a -1 damage counterattack for every -2 damage dealt to member (counterattack is rounded down)
Mushroom Kingdom: +40 - Mega Mushroom - All members deal double damage for the rest of the round, but cannot use weapons. Negative side effects are doubled for members
Pokémon: +50 - Pokeball - A random, unused Pokeball is activated. Members are immune to the effects
Defeated - Sephiroth: +50 - Summon Sephiroth - Either: a Guard Armor or Dark Trooper appear; or Sephiroth appears for the round and deals up to -20 damage distributed among the remaining characters.
Sonic: +60 - Hyper Sonic Speed - Members cannot be attacked for the rest of the round. Members may still attack.
Square Enix: +170 points - Job Change - Members may use any Dressphere that is currently not being used (Check Dressphere guide or with the GM for Dresspheres). Counts as a weapon action
Versus: +70 - Versus: Adrenaline Rush - Members may make unlimited actions. Special users may use their special twice (any given player may only use the special once)

Round 124 Announcements:
1: Brackets?! What are those?
2: I hope you liked the commercial parodies. They are really fun to write. If you have suggestions, feel free to PM me. I will be doing more of the ‘who’s greatest’ discussions since they are pretty fun to write. Both features should return after the war. Drools over the idea of more Mac vs PC commercials.
3: War Results: The Heros obviously won. They had the numbers and would continue fighting even after Monblanc fell. Ridley and Captain Falcon would also have kept fighting after Sephiroth fell. I doubt Smithy would have stayed after Koopa Jr fell. With the Axems, he probably would have tried his own attack. Agahnim and Twinrova may have stayed to fight, but they were weak. The characters came out best. They only lost Link and Beatrix in the three weeks. Fortunately, they will be losing more now that the action is focused back on them.
4: Overall Comments: Everyone did really well. I think most of you did a good job of playing your cards close to your chest. If I had to say who played the best, it would be either Roxas or Okamoto. Roxas was slow to start but quickly went to work. Okamoto was most active sending Special requests, even setting a pattern of choosing the same ones constantly. Everyone did a really good job. I was shocked to see Montblanc hit as hard as he was in the final rounds. The Heros were so rarely targeted by the players, I knew they would survive with ease. Except for Okamoto and Roxas, the Character objectives were rarely touched. I tried helping each team evenly as much as I could. I’ll definitely make Koopa stronger next time. This started as a boredom cure, evolved into a test bed, and turned out pretty good. I also have to thank Pupply Lover for coming in and adding to the confusion at the end.

Yah, 33 damage to Montblanc was kinda ridiculous, not as ridiculous as Mushroom madness, but yeah.

It is not my fault no one ever really targeted (regular) Montblanc until after Seraph Sephiroth was at >.5 HP, Wind Mage Vaati was at ~.6 HP, and Giga Koopa was ~.7 HP. The Heros were relatively untouched for most of the game!



Most of them started at 25 HP, but I figured that most of the 'villain' team supporters would attack them. I tried to send the Heros damage when I had to pick the targets. Maybe if Team Ganon's supporter targeted someone other than Sephiroth, Koopa, Koopa Jr, and Col Johnson...

Hey, I wasn't the only one who had Montblanc as a target, and no one utilized team work in this last round. Though Chris did a good job on wasting one of his actions and a special in attempt to protect Montblanc.

We'll be teasing him about that for rounds to come. Makes him seem like an easy target in the next WW game...
