For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

I mentioned numerous times that I've been swamped with work, and I agree, I didn't do as much as I could and I probably would have been eliminated if not for my exemption.
BUT, I can honestly say that I would have done the same thing whether I had it or not. That's obviously an incentive to clear up my schedule next time. You must remember, school work takes top priority. Personally, I think that post was rather rude and selfish, but I will let everyone have their opinion. But you must take in consideration that other people worked just as hard as you did, whether it shows or not, and to immediately assume that other didn't even try, is just as I mentioned. Oh, and you spelled both my name and Wind's name incorrectly. ^_^
Have a nice day. ^_^
Oh yes, great job Eidolon, you definitely deserved it.

That post was a bit rude and selfish to. Considering I do hours of school work each night plus have never gotten a B on my report card ever. Straight A student for life. That is my top priority!!! Think whatever you want Kugestu considering if I filled you in play by play of my life you would notice you are being the selfish one now! Good luck to all.

I was a judge for this round, which was based off of my competition. So I'm going to say my peace on this little argument.
jabond102, you may think you should not have been disqualified, but the choice was really not up to you. It was up to the judges. It may be unfair, but I won't agree or disagree with that. But this contest is just for fun. There wasn't any need to try to insult Kugetsu.
I THINK YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN FIRED.
Please do not be offended by my comments but you would get mad if you got fired to when it did take time to make those images.
I ask you how someone could not be offended/insulted by that statement?
But either way, here is my main point right now. Instead of everyone complaining and whatnot, why not compliment Eidolon on doing the best job this round?
And I shall say no more, other than...
GREAT JOB EIDOLON!!!!

*sigh* How is giving a reason for why I didn't do that well this round rude and selfish? I could go on and on about how that comment made no sense at all, but I'll refrain. Please, there is no reason for this conversation to even exists. This is not the time nor the place. END

Oh wow, I'm amazed I wasn't fired! After I looked back on my entry, I thought it was rather bland. Congratulations to Eidolon!
I'd like to say that I really liked Ziggy's entry. I think it was pretty original, I know I never would've though of making a website.

Thanks for all the congrats, guys!

It's kind of odd...*grins* I found it strange that people are being nice about things and congratulating the exemptions...
*refrains from mentioning arguments*
My main previous experience with boards (other than RPing, which I've done for years) has mostly been the neoboards, so I still find it hard to grasp that people are...*gaspshockdie* NICE!
Anyway, my thanks to everyone and the judges, good job to the people that made it through the boardroom, and good luck all on the next round
edit - and I also wanted to say, the website idea was awesome. I had the idea of an article + an image, which most people did, but I didn't even begin to think of that. Also, to whoever thought up the interview (I believe xjox did it first?), that was nicely put together and that was another one that I was kicking myself for not thinking of

I liked that you used different colors, it made the whole thing clearer.

I realize that you feel bad cause you were fired jabond, but I didn't copy your idea.
I just spent the afternoon offline making the blog and the image, then I came online to post it only to find you had the same idea.
It's not my fault, and I didn't want to remove a part of my entry just because you had a similar one. Honestly, you would have done the same if I'd posted before you...
And this is the last word I'll say on this.
Whew, I'm still in? Now I just hope next task doesn't involve graphics of sort, cause my trial of PSP expires in 4 days' time

Task 4 is up.

Ammer you are so mean!
Do we have to make it a real game? or just to look like a game?
Thu Feb 03, 2005 10:57 pm
Great idea. =D
Do you want just a basic overview of the whole game, or everything discussed in detail?

Define real game. Do you mean like actually make an actual game or make it look like a professional game cover?

An overview discussed in detail.

Yep thats what I meant do we have to actually make a game, but I think I understand what we have to do now, the kind of thing that appears on the back of a game or in a magazine right?

I'm sorry, but I think I'll have to drop out. My semester benchmarks are coming up very soon, and school comes before PPT. I certainly had a good time playing, and if you perhaps do this at a better time later on, I'll try to join it again.
