I suggest having a look through the Raiders of Maraqua TCG's: http://www.neopets.com/tcg/checklist.phtml?edition=7
Taking screencaptures of the current plot if you like some of those images. Searching for Maraquan items and having a look through some of the Neopets backgrounds and Neogreetings.

To actually get the image you'll have to right-click on it, select "Save picture as..." and then save it to your Computer. Alternatively to get the links you can right-click, select "Properties" and the link should be there.

Hope that helps :D

Yeah, the best place to find the Maraquan stuff is in the TCG images, like Medusa mentioned, though there's some Maraquan or Maraquan-like items on the site, including the Caylis plushie, the Isca Usuki, the Nereid Neodeck card, etc. NeoItems will help you find some of that stuff. Some backgrounds will probably have Maraquan stuff, I'm not sure about NeoGreetings(Under 13 Acct for me). :)

:O
Just realized you had His Dark Materials under your list...

Which do you prefer? The Knife, the Compass or the Spyglass? :)

Sun Mar 20, 2005 12:51 pm

Yeah, I just added that. I've read the Golden Compass, I'm reading the Subtle Knife, but haven't finished, and haven't read the Amber Spyglass yet.
Any one of those will do, and if you do do the spyglass, be careful that no spoilers accidentally pop up. If spoilers can show up in a set. Hmm... But HDM is a good series, isn't it. I got the boxed set, yay! :D

Another wonderful set from Stampsyne, yay! The colour scheme is so purty! And I'm loving the multiple borders. :D Though is the whitish part in the sig supposed to be there, is it like an aura-like thing or something?

I was looking through your list, and I happen to have a few Pandora images, so I looked at this old black and white one (kind of plain), started cropping, freehanding, colorizing different segments, etc., and came up with this. I actually like this one (always a surprise). And according to some mythology, it wasn't exactly a "box" that Pandora opened, it was a jar. But in all of them, Hope is what's left :) Let me know if you don't like the smoke animation - I have this saved without any ani.

The multiborders was part of the frame of the original image. I just expanded or contracted it as needed. The misty effect is neat. It's the process of layering an image mask' of the portrait over the fall forest to get the misty effect. What better way to show a goddess? I left the effects of her drawing her arrow around her on the signature, but there is none on the avatar because her bow is down.

If you do not like it, I can very easily remove it. I saved the layers of the process on this set just in case.

I like it, of course, it's a great sig, but do you think I could see the unmisty one? 0:) I'd like to compare them to see which one I like better, please.

Ooh, I like how it turned out! Think I could see the original image? No reason really why, I just wanted to see what you did with it, :)

Beautiful set, Jas! :) Although I usually don't like warm colours, you and stampsyne seemed to make them more calming in your sets. I'd like to see the original picture for this, also. Like with everconfused, no reason why. I'm just silly like that. :P

Alrightly. TADA! For those who are curious,
the gold reference has a double meaning with the fall leaves.

Since you were curious about the original graphics of others,
I added my Artemis source as well.

Hmm, I like both, but I prefer this one. I did save both, in case I change my mind, because the one with the aura is pretty good. :D And the starting graphic looks really nice.

Yes I made this somewhat smaller (and more compressed - lower quality for byte size) than the one I used via my scanner. That one is about twice the size of this because I was trying to get the best possible image from an old postcard type thing.

Then cropped, resized, Pandora freehanded and put on trans, as was her pot and the "smoke" - which is everything escaping. Then colorizing the background, Pandora, the pot and the smoke, then adding effect to the smoke, then putting the whole thing together in PSP and anishop (the smoke), then adding the name, color bars and subtext :)

The Artemis quote is nice. She was/is the Goddess of the Hunt and the pure. She also assists women having babies.
