For those topics one could describe as the forum equivalent of a twinkie. Word games, forum contests and giveaways are all the rage here.

Signal Beam = 75dmg x 2 = 150
Surf = 80dmg x 2 = 160
= no attack chance for you? :P

Edit: hehe, Kugetsu got it too ;)

Signal Beam should be 40 dmg, IIRC. Dracir (or Blk Mage) attacked me with it once. :P

The attack powers are different in this game. Think of it more like the trading card game in that respect.

Did I miss?
Wing Attack on Solrock.

Haha! You both lose!

Signal Beam does 20 damage. Stupid Bug Pokemon...

Turn 11 update. Bug isn't SE against Ice, so that's why I thought the damage was 40.

Is it supposed to be 20 or 40? o_0

Okamoto throws an Ultra Ball at Beldum. 75 = MISS.

Hikaru throws a Timer Ball at Beldum. 8 = CAUGHT!

Here's how this works. After each attack, the other has a 50% chance of attacking as well.

Dracir uses Signal Beam on Solrock. It's super effective! Solrock takes 40 damage!

Solrock uses Sunny Day! The weather has become Sunny!
Lunatone uses Rock Throw! It's super effective! Dracir's Pokemon takes 40 damage!

Anoohilator uses Surf on Solrock. It's super effective! Solrock takes 80 damage!

Solrock uses Solarbeam! It's super effective! Anoohilator takes 200 damage! His Pokemon is defeated (and his others are NOT susceptible to attacks this turn).
Lunatone does nothing this turn.

Ciwey uses Crunch on Solrock. It's super effective! Solrock takes 140 damage and is defeated!
Lunatone uses Psychic on CW. His Pokemon takes 80 damage and is defeated! (He is also immune to attacks this turn).

Results are being mailed now :D

EDIT: Oh, and BTW... Beldum was level 9, not 10. Oops.

This take me down to one fainted Poke, one Level 6 Poke and one Poke with a decent level (but inconvenient attack type).

So Lunatone is still up? Yes? Still open for attacking? Yes?

If so, use Giga Drain on Lunatone.

Yeah, that's right, I hate you.

Actually I'm wondering, the next Gym Leader's Wallace, and he's the last Hoenn one. Since most of us are still alive right now, it's safe to say that the game won't be over in the next few turns. So what do you gyuys think will come after Wallace? Obviously the Elite Four are out, but maybe Kanto/ Johto Gym Leaders and Elite Four?

Use Metal Claw on Lunatone
Throw Great Ball at Skarmory

Attack Lunatone with Faint Attack (if I can attack with a pokemon I'm switching out, I don't remember)

If I can't do that, attack with Night Shade.

Gym Leader events come before Turn events, so you should be fine.

Can't attack and switch on the same turn.

Wed Jan 17, 2007 7:28 am

Attack as in attack other player's Pokes. Gym Leaders are completely fair game. I myself switched to Glalie and Ice Beamed Altaria several turns ago.
