Actually, the Gambler DS was originally called Lady Luck since I was creating them since that was the name of the DS in FF X-2. I changed the DS's name when I took into account classic FF gamblers like Setzer and Cait Sith. The original name stayed with YRP since the specials were still done by Ladies Luck.

lol, I was gonna be fine with it, and I was expecting to see like 485 points for me. :P

SSBB = Super Smash Brothers Brawl
To all of those interested in joining, there are no sign ups. You can just start playing right off the bat. If you need additional help, I am here most of the time and more than willing to try to help as much as possible.

Story as of now:

The Dark Armor kindly drops its Energy Shield and meanly raises its Assault Cannon. Geno is blasted for -5 damage. Paine gets attacked by the Moblin for -2 damage. While Yuna was using her Lady Luck dressphere, she had to set down her Elixir. (What? There are no pockets on that dress). Blaze sneaks over and, with catlike agility, steals the item while Yuna is attacking.
Yuna: Hey! Give that back!
Yuna starts chasing the cat around the arena. Reno watches from the side with a happy grin.
Reno: Thank you, Yevon.
Reno gets out a camera, but it is shattered with a rouge card from Yuna’s general direction.

The GM and Phoenix are done with their walk and have returned to the GM’s office. Phoenix now has five notebooks full of cases.
GM: ...And finally, I need a restraining order against those dang Bubble Bobble things. They are getting annoying.
Phoenix: Bubble Bobble things?
GM: Get down!
A pair of small dinosaur-like creatures enter the room and start spitting bubbles. The GM deftly dodges under his desk, but Phoenix gets hit and trapped in a bubble. The GM comes back up with a Super Scope blazing. The dinosaur-like creatures scurry away.
GM: Presses a button on his desk. Rufus. We got hit again. Put out an APB for those guys.
Rufus: Over comm. I'm on it.
The GM turns to Phoenix and pops the bubble with a Super Scope shot.
GM: You okay man?
Phoenix: I think we have enough to convict them.

Chief: And while they are focusing only on Wing Zero, at least four other Gundams, five is Wu Fei wants to play with the others for once, will finish off the lions individually.
Sam: Four minus Wu Fei?
Chief: Like Zechs would stand by the sidelines for that fight.
Sam: If Zechs gets counted, then there has to be a ro-beast factor as well. They would overwhelm the Gundams long enough for Voltron to finish off Wing Zero and it would still have enough juice to finish off all of the ro-beasts as well! Ipso facto!

Specials follow the same format where appropriate.

Specials and weapons should be used before regular attacks can be used.

Special users can defeat one 1 or 2 HP NPC of their choice in addition to their special use (meaning without targeting the NPC with the special).

Super Smash Attacks (SSA): SSA actions are powerful, character-specific moves with special effects. They can only be activated two ways and usually involve the character being removed from the game (see below) for a short time. The SSA use counter does not reset until all characters have used their SSA. To activate: either use a Smash Emblem or buy it with some points. Characters that still have an available SSA are marked with the Yen symbol (¥)

Removed from the Game (RFG): Unlike in Magic: The Gathering, this is not a permanent effect. Characters removed from the game cannot attack or heal but cannot be targeted. They return to play after a set amount of rounds. At least three characters will remain in play at all times.

<s> Special Character - Gogo: Due to Gogo’s unique nature, I will post his information every round. If there are any questions, PM me, and I will willingly help.
Gogo cannot attack or heal. He is active every round. He has only one special which he uses every round.
Special: Mime: *Gogo copies the last action done (the post above this use). *Gogo’s user may choose new targets. *If a special was used, Gogo receives -3 damage in addition to the special’s effects. *Cannot mime SSAs or actions in the GM’s posts. *Cannot be the first action of the round. *If Gogo is not used, he automatically heals for +1 HP each round, but he starts with 30 HP at the beginning of the game. *He counts as male for gender related contests.</s>

Deep Space 9ers: +50 - Reflective Shields - All attacks directed at the members are reflected back to the attackers. Members can still attack
Dream Land: +20 - Skill Copy - Members may use any special belonging to any [Faction] member. (Check character guide or with the GM for specials)
Hyrule: +90 points - Magic Sack - Members may use any weapon unlimited times (weapon changes user after each use unless user can do unlimited attacks) (Check item guide or with the GM for items)
Independent: +0 - None (duh, they have no team)
Defeated - Kongo Jungle: +20 - Monkey Friends - When a member is attacked, the attacker receives a -1 damage counterattack for every -2 damage dealt to member (counterattack is rounded down)
Mushroom Kingdom: +40 - Mega Mushroom - All members deal double damage for the rest of the round, but cannot use weapons. Negative side effects are doubled for members
Pokémon: +50 - Pokeball - A random, unused Pokeball is activated. Members are immune to the effects
Sephiroth: +60 - Summon Sephiroth - Either: a Guard Armor or Dark Trooper appear; or Sephiroth appears for the round and deals up to -20 damage distributed among the remaining characters.
Sonic: +60 - Hyper Sonic Speed - Members cannot be attacked for the rest of the round. Members may still attack.
Square Enix: +160 points - Job Change - Members may use any Dressphere that is currently not being used (Check Dressphere guide or with the GM for Dresspheres). Counts as a weapon action
Versus: +70 - Versus: Adrenaline Rush - Members may make unlimited actions. Special users may use their special twice (any given player may only use the special once)

That "Y" meant Yuna had a special, eh? I assumed Yuna doing that 3 damage was a normal attack, and Uncle Xyzzy was just making a joke with the 5 points. >_> Please stop confusing me; I skim for names, and I don't notice abbreviations. :P

"Cecil's Buddy" uses Blitz on Pichu for -5 damage.

You think that is hard, try coming up with clever ways to hide the character's name when they only have one nickname at best. That is where intimate knowledge of all of the games comes in. PS: Running low on nicknames...

Edit: Sorry for sounding snippy. I like using the nicknames or descriptions of the characters for the specials. Once I run out of fun ways to describe them, the characters will revert to normal.... unless I think of more :D

Also, I honestly did not remember that Yuna could only use her special until about a hour before posting. I was looking for unused specials and laughing at how I described Zelda when it hit me. If I had noticed earlier, I would have said something. Sorry :cry: *begs for forgiveness*
