Qanda's set contest (Winners announced!)

Due to a lack of sets, I have decided to hold a set contest. Disregard the title, it is just to provide a contrast to the other "awesome" and "super-duper" set contests.

Topics I am interested in:


Nature

Nice scenery/breathtaking landscapes (Lush forests, lakes, countrysides, mountains, oceans, sea of flowers, deserts, waterfalls, sunsets, seasons etc).

Forces of nature/natural phenomena (Tornadoes, volcanoes, hurricanes, waves, aurora, etc)


Wild animals

Neopets

Anything Neopets related! I don't really have a particular preference for anything.

Night

Any to do with the mysterious night. Eg:

Night creatures (Including but not limited to sinister ones like werewolves, black cats and bats!)

Night scenery of anything, eg, night landscapes, night view of a prosperous metropolis etc

Dark scary stuff (ghosts, grim reaper, vampires, graveyards)

Mythology and cultures

Egyptian
Chinese/Oriental
Greek
Norse
Roman
Middle-eastern
And others

Others

Pics of good-looking males (no special preference for a specific person) No females, please, since sets with females always make people think you are one too.

Random pics (apples, books, cottages, curtains, pills, you name it!)

Note that you are not limited to the topics stated and are free to use your imagination and creativity as you please. I am pretty liberal, as I normally care more about how the set looks like than what it is about (yeah, call me shallow ).

Rules:

1) By submitting a set you are allowing me to use it freely in any manner I wish forever throughout the universe! (Sounds familiar?)

2) I will not necessarily use your set on this forum, but I may use it elsewhere (on other forums, as my MSN display pic, etc).

3) I am not obliged to credit you for your set (though I won't pass it off as my work either). Don't worry though, I most likely will credit you for it if I use it on here.

4) I may ask you to change certain texts on the sets you submit.


And of course, the prizes:

1st: 100,000 np + random valuable item (i.e. worth >10k)
2nd: 75,000 np + random valuable item
3rd: 50,000 np + random valuable item
4th: 25,000 np
5th: 12,500 np

Excellence awards: 10,000 np - These prizes are for those who I feel could have won more than one prize due to the high quality of all their submitted sets.

5 consolation prizes:

5,000np and a random codestone each

Deadline:

Whenever I think there have been enough entries. Should last for at least a week.

As many times as you want, though each person can only win one prize (so even if all your submitted sets are the best of all, I can't give you all the prizes ).

All the sets submitted so far are awesome, such that I am starting to worry about how to choose just a few winners out of so many good ones! Keep them coming in though, worst comes to worst I'll just increase the number of prizes!

I think I'm going either the nature or ethnic route, I have some great pictures. I'm having a real block on subtext right now. Are there any sayings or song lyrics or anything at all you particularly like?
