...when your account is frozen because you created a time device to attempt to restock.

...when you know how to earn a lot in one day and that it is possible and common.

when you wonder why you don't earn as much irl as you do on restocking

You'll know you are addicted to Neopets when you go to the Home Improvment Store, you yell out, "Only 10np for a Paintbrush!" and proceed to buy all of the paintbrushes in the store so no one else gets in on the deal.

When you plan on zapping the dog to turn it into something more interesting.

Hmm, here's some that actually have happened to me in RL.
