Cut one down. Just make sure you don't lie about it.

I hear they dig that.

Funny, its the political capital of the world. They'd probably have more of a probably have more of a problem with you cutting down the trees. Maybe they're just grown acclimatized to the lying.

Hmmm go see the National Space and Air Museum, let me know if it still is any good :). There is the National Zoo :)...all the tons of memorials, smithsonian museums...you can't do all of D.C in one day, so big and tons to see :( I think the cherry blossoms already lost their blossoms o_O. Not sure, they may still be blooming.

Did I mention that they have New York Avenue? New York is better than washington DC. Since you cant go there, you should go to New York Ave. Thats the next best thing.

Really? Is it for a school trip or something? Because my sister is going there tomorrow too! If you see her, tell me. She um... well, I'll post a picture of her or something. :P

I agree about the National Space and Air Museum. I went when I was in DC, it was excellent. ^_^

There's lots you can do there! So many places you can tour, so little time. I wouldn't take any pictures though, just to be sure you don't get a bunch of secret service agents breathing down your neck.

Most of what you want to see is around the Monument thingy, and you wnat to stay out of the Southeastern part of DC:P

If you have any questions I may be able to answer 'em.

If you're talking about the plane thing it went right over my school. Very few of us noticed it.

Definitely see at least one of the Smithsonian musuems...the Air and Space Museum is great, but I was also a big fan of the National History Museum.

See the washington Monument, even if only from the ground. It's been re-opened, so you can take the elevator to the top, too, if you want.

Don't bother with the Zoo - in my opinion, there are a lot of much better zoos in the country. Saint Louis, San Diego - even Columbus, Ohio, has a better zoo. Of course, the National Zoo is stuck in a place where it can't really expand and hasn't got much of a budget, but really the only thing to see there is the pandas.

See the capitol building if you have time. It's the seat of power of the world's single greatest superpower. Plus, it's got it's very own police force. Nifty.

That should take about a day, or a day and a half.
