So I had b-ball camp this week. It was right at the end of the last quarter of the last game. I almost made it thru the first day. Then it happened. I collided with another player. I broke my arm REALLY badly.

If this is my arm normally,

then this is how it looked when I broke it,

I got to go in an ambulance for the first time. Everyone was amazed at how calm it was. I guess the reason I was so calm was because I broke the same arm 2 years ago. When we got to the hospital, they had problems getting the IV in. They thought they got it the 1st time but they had problems. They took it out and started poking it around in my arm. They did that for like 3 minutes. Gosh that hurt. Eventually they took it out. Then they finally got it going in my wrist. They managed to get the arm popped back into place. Then they put it in a cast.

Then, last night, I couldn't sleep. It hurts to move my arm without the sling on. Well, I took the sling off and it hurt like heck. Me and my mom got up and went downstairs to watch some TV. I watched a little fresh prince. That finally got me to sleep around 4 AM. Gosh this thing is annoying. I can't use my left arm AT ALL! I typed this whole message with one hand BTW.

I'm having surgery tommorow. I honestly can't wait. My arm hurts if I lift it up on my own and sometimes I accidentally flex my arm and that hurts soooooooooo bad. The surgery will fix that.

Well, there goes my summer!

Ouuuch. One of my friends punched a wall and had some screws placed inside his right hand. o_o. Hope your arm feels better soon, it sounds painful. I fell one time and landed on my right knee cap and it split the skin open to the bone, thank god it didnt break the bone. I couldn't move my leg without it hurting. epp. Feel better soon :)

OWWWWWW! I had the surgery yesterday. Man my arm hurts. Ughhhhh. Luckily, they only put one plate in my arm. If they had put two in, I would have had to stay overnight. I felt REALLY sick on the way home. It still hurts to move it AND I STILL CAN'T PLAY VIDEOGAMES! This really sucks.

I sympathize with you, my brotherbroke his arm twice in the span of six months. He has to have surgery again to take his plates out end of July. When the whole thing was said and done, he ended up staying in the hospital for about three weeks altogether, consider yourself lucky that you go to come home right away.

(the picture was taken after the first break, his scars are much worse now, but his arm is straight)

Reality is only an illusion, albeit a very persistant one.
