I usually go to my grandma's house for lunch on thanksgiving, and then go to my aunt's house for dinner. This year my aunt pushed the time back so it's earlier, so we're just going to my grandma's house. Afterwards we usually just sit around and talk, especially since quite a few of my relatives live farther away and I don't get to see them too often, usually only Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Nothing. I don't have anyone to have it with. I think it's McD's for lunch for me -- if I feel like venturing out in the cold.

What do you mean you don't believe in Thanksgiving? It's not a religious holiday, is it?

Something doesn't have to be religious for one to believe in it or not.

I'm not eating lunch and Thanksgiving will be for dinner instead (mother works). It won't be very different than any other day really. Just a lot more food.

You could have it with our family but one condition...you must cook your yummy stuff :p

I'm originally from Panama and we celebrated it, it was called "day of the turkey", pretty much anyhow. Everyone should take it up, it's a good time to make too much food and pig out and of course give thanks for everything, being alive, being with family, have toes that could serve for fingers etc. I just like it b/c we finally sit down and eat like a family, doesn't happen much. And I like it if we have friends over and everyone can talk and have fun during the course.

I think it's more of an American holiday. Although they have it in Canada too, except in October.

Heh, definitely football. The local team plays Denver in a pretty big matchup.

Also, my relatives are a bit too far to visit during Thanksgiving (we're in Texas, relatives in California and New York).

I know, that just seemed like the only reason I could think of. But, yeah, I forgot he's not from the US.
