Study Skills: 8th grade
Science: 7th grade
Social Studies: 7th grade

Congratulations! *misses party hat emoticon*
That's very good. ^__^

I haven't gotten my CAT/STAR/whatever they're calling standardized tests now yet....
Usually, I get 95th percentile up, but it doesn't really matter very much to me, it's not like they count for much. Plus, this year I had to take the test for Earth Sciences, a class I've never taken (I'm not in any science this year), so that's really going to hurt me. Oh well, such is life...

now if ive got this right...
bleeding ell your good.
(in my year 6 SAT's i got a score higher than the expected average for a year 11 GCSE finals, unfortunetly my little stint of hate that was my first secondary school (years 7-9) meant i got the same score in the finals o.O still got national average with the best part of five years offschool, not bad considering.

We used to have voacbulary and reading skills grading, I was always 5 years ahead. Very pleasing.

Good on you for scoring well.

Am I the only one that never had to do this stuff? Because this doesn't sound at all familiar. o_O Maybe it's a private school exemption thingy.

You must be pretty good, though, DM.

Pretty good scores! I don't think I took those in elementary school... but then again, I went to a private school. Why did you take the CAT if you don't live in California?

They do that sometimes. When I was in elementary school we had to take some test with Iowa or Idaho in the name.

Now I have the TAKS. x_X *misses the good ole days of TAAS*

Heh, in Year 7 (age 12) I had the reading ability of a 17 year old. I was bringing stuff like Terry Pratchett in to read. However, during years 8/9/10 I went through a bit of a...ahem...rebellious patch, and am now awaiting results that I may have messed up and will be lucky to get the grades needed for college. Ooops

Terry Pratchett is amazing. :D

I think I'm still in my rebellious patch, but those tests measure pretty abstract skills and aptitude and all, not "academic achievement." Academic achievement means having to turn in homework. Good reading and writing skills are another thing entirely.

DM, those scores seem to be pretty good! :)

Pity I really don't understand how they work, but never mind. ^_^

lol i have no idea how those are graded, but they seem really good :P congrats! and terry pratchett rocks, i still read alot of his work, and i love reading, one time my parents actually took the light bulb out of my room to stop me from reading at night, but when i have a really good book, i have to read it through, i can't put it down, but i'm a fast reader so its not bad, i finished the 5th harry potter book in 1.5 hours but i know there are faster readers, but i'm a read, and flip back to the other page person.

If you see my sanity, get it to give me a call.

It's the CAT 5, homeschoolers have to take them. Gaah, I hate it so.

Wow that's really good! I don't take those tests so I can't compare mine. I took the ERBs and SSATs this year but the SSATs were optional as I'm not applying anywhere until 9th grade.

Actually I think the ERBs were harder than the SSATs. The SSATs were quite easy and a lot of fun as school on a Saturday will go. I took them at my school so I knew a bunch of the kids there and we got cookies during the breaks. Plus the guy supervising was really funny.
"Please enter your SSAT regestration number in the space provided. If you think you are going to do badly, please enter someone else's registration number in the space provided."

Ooh, good job, DM! :) I don't have CATs here, but I think it's thr equivelant to Star testing. Star is only for Math and Reading though. I got 12.9+ on both math and reading, but I think they should make it harder. Everyone always gets higher than their grade level in my class.

Image Thanksies Dawn, sorry I didn't see it before. ^___^
