What's wrong with Spanish 2? If I can order a beer and a hamburger, and find my way to the bathroom, then I consider myself fluent.

I completed Spanish 4, if that helps.
Although if you're in Spanish 2 and you haven't learned some of the verb tenses, I'm not sure we can correct your grammar properly if you haven't covered those tenses in class. We could dumb down our advice if you let us know what tenses you've covered.

i'll just go ahead and post them and you guys can hash them out. maybe someone can take them to a spanish teacher and ask them? thanks!

I wrote: ¡Mi pierna! ¡mi pierna está quebrada! Necesito un teléfono llamar a mi hija. ¡Mi hija necesita saber donde estoy!
i was trying to say: My leg! My leg! My leg is broken! I need a telephone to call my daughter. My daughter needs to know where i am!

I wrote: Mi hija se preocupará. ¿Qué haré? ¿Qué haré?
i was trying to say: My daughter will worry. What will i do? What will i do?

I wrote: Vamos a morir, lo sé.
i was trying to say: We are going to die, i know it.

I wrote: ¡No me toque!
i was trying to say: Don't touch me!

I wrote: ¿Oh, qué está sucediendo? La luz es demasiado.
i was trying to say: Oh, what is happening? The light is too much.

I wrote: ¿Qué vamos a hacer?
i was trying to say: What are we going to do?

thanks everyone :)

¿Oh, qué está pasando?

"La luz es demasiado" just sounds odd. You might want to reword it, like... "the light hurts my eyes" -- La luz hace daño a los ojos, or something. Ask Paola; she speaks Spanish.

Or how about: "Es demasiada luz!" which basically means there is too much light.

oh, thank you both so much!

what's happening in the play is, the light is flashing and making everyone upset. how would i say, "the light is ruining me" or "the light is terrible"? those would work very well in context.

"The light is terrible" would be "La luz es terrible."

You might also try "Hay demasiada luz" instead...since the one is "Is too much light" and the other is "There is too much light."

Lol, ditto that, although I'd rather get a soda.
