but ive heard from all sources that doing movie 4 would be impossible to make it in movie time (under 4 hours)

That's why they said they will probably do it as a two part special, or so I've heard.

that would be cool, because book 4 and 5 are my favorite

It's between 2 and 3. I'll say three since book 3 is my favorite in the whole series.

I'm sorry. I don't like the Harry Potter films. :?

Wed Jun 16, 2004 5:36 pm

Really? I like the books and the films. My favourite book is either 3 or 4. 3 because that's when all the truth about his parents come out, and 4 because of the quidditch world cup and the triwizard tournament.

I like the books, but the films just annoy me. :?

Yup happens often when I see a series... Like in LotR... I saw the first 2 on dvd on the same day, so I remember it as one long movie :P

Your title is an oxymoron.

I like the 2nd one the best. The third is WAY too different from the book.

Wed Jun 16, 2004 8:45 pm

The third one hands down.

It may be the least faithful to the book...but it's a movie. It's not going to be faithful to the book....ever. Books allow you to have your own vision. A movie is always going to be someone else's vision.

As far as movies go...this was a good movie and the most well done of the three. If you haven't read any of the books, this one would probably be the favorite.
