In just a few hours...

Thu Mar 17, 2005 12:20 pm

I'll be leaving for Florida! I can't wait to get away from all this snow. First, we're headed for Disney World for a few days, and then down to Fort Myers for Red Sox spring training.

So I'll probably be away from PPT until at least Friday. I'll miss you guys, even if it's only for a week or so. Hehe, I'm such a PPT addict...

Anyhow, bye all and I'll see you when I'm back! 8)

I believe you know how jealous I am. :P

Have fun, give the guys kisses for me, and I'll expect a full report when you get back. ;)

Don't worry, I will. :)

You lucky gal! I've always wanted to go to Florida. Actually, that's a lie because I could have gone to Florida for my 21st birthday but I've opted for a tour of south-west USA instead. Just under two years to wait now...

Ooooo!!! Check out the Canadian pavilion at Epcot. My sister works at a restaurant there. :P

Omg nuh uh, I'm going to Orlando this weekend also XD (But I live in Florida and we're not going to any of the theme parks, we're just staying in a hotel).

But, it's totally cool that we'll be in the same city at the same time :P. Have fun at Disney! It's an awesome place, you'll have a blast.

Gah, you're so lucky. I haven't been to Florida in years, but we used to go all the time. Have a great time and don't forget to bring back souvenirs! :)

Aw, see you! You'd better bring me back something... because I'll know!!!

Thu Mar 17, 2005 9:53 pm

Well, have a good time. Florida must be beautiful this time of year. ^___^ Enjoy your time there and take back plenty of memories.
(PS: I'm going to Florida too this summer. Wahoo!)

Awww, lucky! I've never been out of Ontario.

If you are going to all the Disney theme parks...

MGM Studios (Disney Studios) is only for people who like watching shows. No rides (except for the Tower of Terror and Roller Coaster [each with huge lines, except the roller coaster which is short if you are not riding with others in your family... although the ride itself is 30 seconds long :P]). :P

EPCOT is pretty much only if you like going to visit the different countries and if you like scientific stuff. Hardly any rides in the world showcase, and some of the other rides are slow (although the Mars one feels like a real spaceship :P).

Animal Kingdom is great. We never fully get a chance to see everything, because there are many shows. One of the shows is Tarzan Rocks. If you do not like seeing middle-age people play guitar to three songs from Tarzan, I wouldn't suggest going. Kali River Rapids is a MUST. :P

You totally forgot Magic Kingdom :P. It's the one with the best rides out of all 4. Lots of rides based off Disney movies and then of course the 3 mountains - Space, Thunder, and Splash. Those are the best rides there.

And about Epcot, you forgot about Test Track :P. That's pretty cool.

I didn't put Magic Kingdom, because that's the default park. o.o Most everyone who visits automatically goes. :P

Hehe, reminds me of the time we went to Florida.

We were on the nice, lovely monorail, and a voice says, "Welcome to the wonderful world of Disney, where you can start your day with SHI-" Yeah. And a man goes, "Well... that's nice to know. I might just go home!"

It was a cut in the voice thingy. The real world was "Chef Mickey's Continental Breakfast", but that version ^ is totally hilarious. XD We were all like... uhm, great advertising.

Have fun. :P

Eh, I don't know, I like MGM better. If you go at rope drop, you can ride Rock 'n' Roller Coaster with very little waiting. And Fastpasses are good.

Kali River Rapids is much more fun on a rainy, cold day. No lines. :P

Yep, I'm back. Run for cover. Thanks for the tips and well-wishes, guys!
