I just got back from school, which had a huge Purim party... Although I didn't get dressed up, and got bored, so I left early.

Yeah, it starts tomorrow for me. :) If I have time, I'll go to my temple's Purim Festival - if not, I'll nosh on hamentashen at home. I want to go though, I still haven't gotten out of the phase where I think waving a grogger and singing stupid songs about Haman is incredibly fun. :P

Happy Purim, everyone! :)

Can someone explain to me what Purim is and how it's celebrated? I'm not informed on this holiday, I'm sure I've read about but I don't know o_O .

Happy Purim, all! :D

You can read about the holiday of Purim here, for those of you who want to learn more about it.

For me it starts tomorrow night and goes on all Friday. I'd like to dress up for it but I can't think what as. For me, the best part of Purim is the hamantashen. My mother makes the best ones. XD

It's a Jewish holiday Charisma.

I'm going to temple tonight! :D. I'm helping cook a spaghetti dinner for everyone (extra credit in hebrew school XD) and then there's gonna be a megillah reading and I really really really want a grogger haha. Those things are so much fun.

I love groggers. My sister got this really cool one. It's like a gun and when you press the trigger there's this really loud pop and little streamers and smoke come shooting out. :D

I'm going to temple tonight as well. My father's doing the megillah reading there. :)

we're having a purim carnival thing in school tomorrow instead of classes. but im not going cause i need sleep. i dressed up as a complete opposite of myself (aka my friend) for a purim party last week. twas cool.

mom's making humentachen (definite mispelling right there) now and we got a mishloach manot from school. some sweet stuff in there.

The megillah reading last night was so much fun. I love grogging my grogger XDD. On the stage there was this little clown thing and his nose would light up red and every time they said Hamen the light turned green and people would use their groggers and yell BOOOOOOO and it was just fun.

I got scared though. My hebrew school teacher was dressed up as a cowgirl o_o;;

Was it good fun?

Best thing about porim is that theres no school [here] :) .

BTW Takato, I just realized that if you're going to the Israel vs Ireland game, you must be in Israel...
The stadium is 2 seconds away from my school :P

There's Israelis here? OMG SO COOL XD.

I'm on Spring Break so I have Purim off anyways. I probably wouldn't have gotten it off though (I go to a public American school)

I went to the megillah reading as well, it was nice, met some old friends, Well, Purim is over, exept for people who live in a city with walls =/
