I have to leave my school, and ALL my friends to go to some dumb other one. I cried soooooooo much today after school. I don't want to leave!

Oh, yeah, I can relate. Next year, I have to go to a different school in a different district, and I both cried and laughed hysterically (weird reaction, I know) on the last day of school. Ahem. But that's not the point. It's hard to tear yourself away from friends in a place you're comfortable in.

Get their phone numbers/addresses/email/AIM/etc. so you can stay in touch. Even though you'll be at a different school, you can still talk.

Awww...When are you leaving? If it's in a couple of days, then you can go tell your friends and maybe they'll throw a goodbye party! Or if where you're going isn't far away, you can still keep in touch with everyone.

I have to go to another school next year. I was sad, but I didn't cry.
It didn't seem that bad because I knew I was going to stay in touch with them. The only reason I'm going to another school is because I'm going into a gifted program. Don't worry, Crystal Cloud, you'll meet new people and make new friends. Your old friends won't be forgotten unless you let yourself.

Over time, you'll see if they really were your friends or not. I found out that 3 quarters of the people I believed to be my friends weren't "true friends", and that does hurt on the inside. I can empathise.

On the last day of school for me, I laughed and had a good time. I'm going to a totally brand new school(its opening for its first year in Augest) and the reason I laughed was because I was remembering all the good times I had. Don't be sad that you're going to a new school because you will make new friends but you will always remember your old ones.

I hate that quote, If your arms and legs are chopped off and you survive you aren't going to me stronger (emotionally or physically)...

Anyway, i'll be very blunt. You will get over it. Friends come and go.

I'm going to a gifted program aswell! I had to leave my other school 3 years ago, and I found out that all my friends badmouthed me as soon as i left, and they never kept in contact, I was really sad to find that out. I've been to 4 or 5 different schools before, but this was the one i was most attached to. I had the most friends, had the best experiences, it's just so heartbreaking for me. But thanks everyone! I feel a bit better, except Kristina kinda scared me, .
