Wow, very nice :) i've always wanted to buy an electric, but I guess for the next few years I'll be stuck with my good ol acoustic :)

How much did it cost you? It's looks excellent so it must've been a bundle.

The guitar was $269 the amp was $100 the cable was... like $13 and the strap was $22 and the book was $18 I think... and the tuner was probably around $33.. oh and the stand was I think $9. Yeah, so pretty expensive. :P

Wow 0_0 My folks would never spend that much in one go =/

This makes me wanna start saving *checks balance*. 55 cents down, $400 to go :P

Can you play much?

You will get there. Fender was my early birthday present. :)

No, I can't play anything. Well... I can play the first few notes in Twinkle Twinkle Little Star... but thats all.. I'm going to go try to figure out some more of it. :P

It's a good idea to try and learn how to read tabliture (sp?). Then you can just go on the net and find tabs for any song you want. I get guitar lessons, but a mate of mine can read tab, and if he likes a song, it doesn't take him too long to learn it.

Try learning smoke on the water. Best Begginers song.... ever.

I just did Mary Had a Little Lamb. BY MYSELF! Yay...

Sun Apr 17, 2005 3:22 pm

Ahh, good work :) You don't know how long that took me to learn. Seriously XD

Try playing a few chords, mess around a bit with those. That's where the beauty of guitar lies.

Umm... I think I know what those are...

Oh I love guitars, I used to play. (Not very well, but I knew Smoke on the Water, Blue Monday, Louie Louie and a couple other songs.) Nice guitar, keep practicing no matter what. It often takes a few months to even remember where the frets are. And your fingers may hurt, but just keep doing it. Don't give up! :)

Good luck!

You told me you had an electric guitar. But why didn't you tell me that said guitar was so freaking HOT?!

Sun Apr 17, 2005 5:38 pm

NICE!
I prefer my friend's though. He's got a Strat.

Sun Apr 17, 2005 5:41 pm

OMG...a Strat? Lucky friend!

Cool guitar! I have a acoustic from my grandfather, but I can't really play.
