HOW TO SAVE SL! (COPIED FROM ALEX'S JOURNAL - THANKS RUNE FOR STARTING THE LJ CAMPAIGN TREND AND LETTING US KNOW THE RANKS WERE CHANGED!!!)
Anyway. Yukio needs some help with his song - he entered a music competition which is based on online votes, and he says he has some serious catching up to do
So here you go:
1) Visit http://www.soundcheck.net.au/charts.jsp ... =allbyrank
2) Look for the songs named "Motherland", "Back Where I Begun" and "Dirty Ways". They should be on the first two pages!
3) Once you click on the songs, vote 5 (if you think the song is good enough)!

DAY 8
"Motherland" is currently #18, "Back Where I Begun" is #21 and "Dirty Ways" is #22. We're doing really well and hanging in there. There's not that much seperating the ranks at all so if we keep up the effort and hustle more people to vote everyday, we should be able to reach the goal of getting in the top 5, which guarantees a performance at the final showcase.
I try to vote every time I log on the net. I even have the page bookmarked so I don't forget, so let's start the charge people! Post this in your LJ, set your homepage to the voting page just for this month. If everyone can vote, then get two different people to vote (then get them etc. etc. etc.), then we should shoot up the ranks easy.
DAY 7
"Motherland" is coming in at #17, "Back Where I Begun" is coming in at #20 while "Dirty Ways" is coming in at #23. Ohhh to get "Motherland" in at number #10 (goal for this week), we need around 1,000 points, which is about 200 votes. I'm going to start hustling people hardcore now haha so if I come at you... beware!

MORNING UPDATE
We've been pimping ya'll! "Motherland" is currently at #14 (up from #16), "Back Where I Begun" is #18 (up from #19) and "Dirty Ways" is #21 (up from #24)! Great work people! BNO was running around his computer labs during lunch yesterday while Dawn and everyone else have been infecting forums and the like! We've even got guest appearences from coming2nearu posting in the comments who will be passing on the message to the other PPTers!
The host promised PPT would be up in a few hours yesterday... SKREE *shakes fist at suspended screen*. Come onnn! The party hasn't even begun yet *totemo kanashii... ureshi ni naruyoo!*
"Dirty Ways" needs about 8 votes (40 points) to move up. "Motherland" needs 14 votes (70 points) to move up and "Back Where I Begun" needs 5 votes (25 points) to move up. We're catching up! One at a time. mwahahaha... mwhaahahhaah.. MWAHAHAHAHAH! *licks and infects*

Eck! "Motherland" has fallen back down to 17 while "Back Where I Begun" is still at 18. "Dirty Ways" has fallen back down to #23. *tear* By the end of this week, I'm aiming to get the three songs in the top 10 at least so let's up the ante people! Get people to vote, harras them! Love them! Post this message in your LJ's. Change your sig on PPT. Climb the Empire State Building even!
I discovered something really dodgey today... if you turn off your computer, then turn it back on, the competition allows you to vote again... is that a bug or something they intended?

Oh no! "Motherland" is currently #16 (drop 1 position), "Back Where I Begun" is #19 (same) and "Dirty Ways" is currently #24 (drop 2 positions). I had my little sister call my up this afternoon! "Motherland" got all the way to #12! But then dropped back to #16... hmmm I think competition is becoming a little stiff eck!
We need to get them up in the top 5 to be considered so campain time people! Spread the news, let people know. Harrash them even, then show them some love to let them know how much you love them lol.
Today I had my little sister get all her friends in school to vote. I also had my other duet buddies campaign at their various schools and I was running around mine making people vote for me (lol). I think I should temp set up camp at the computer department and charge people a "voting fee" to utilize the computers. PPT is coming back online so just those artists wait. The party hasn't started yet!
On a happier note, Adam's girlfriend has started promoting the campaign in Guy Sebastian forums and clubs! We've been getting back some great feedback so far!

A big thanks to Alex and Twizz, my official promoters (yeah! Well... ok, I'll admit that I told them I'd steal their diamond encrusted hot pants if they didn't help me.), for helping out so much. Additionally thanks so much to everyone at the "M" chat and PPT for getting behind me and my music! I am sincerely touched I just don't really know what to say
The official SAVE SL has begun! I've entered three songs into a song writing competition. The songs are "Motherland", "Dirty Ways" and "Back Where I Begun". The compeition is based on online voting. Each computer is allowed to vote once every 24 hours, and on a scale of 5 (BEST) to 1 (LOWEST), the points get tallied and the song with the most points cumulative wins! The competition opened today and closes on May 27th. So we have one month to make a difference.
The promotion campign has been crazy today. I've got all my online friends infecting their LJ's with the voting information (read above!), my real life friends all changed their names to "VOTE NOW!" and I've got them all emailing each other and some are even invading Guy Sebastian forums to make them vote as well. Crazy!
At the time of writing, "Motherland" is #15 (301 points), "Back Where I Begun" is #19 (268 points) and "Dirty Ways" is #22 (241 points). We need to get these to #1, #2 and #3 respectively! Get all your friends involved, get all of PPT involved and "M" chat involved! Post this message in your LJ (like Alex, Lille and Rune!), do whatever it takes... because baby, we soooo have this competition in our hands!

5-5-5 all across the board.

As of this very second - Dirty Ways is in 23rd, Back Where I Begun is at 17, and Motherland is in 15.
