Puppy! =D

Thu May 05, 2005 7:08 am

For years, I've wanted a beagle. However, I used to live in an apartment with no yard, and then I moved here and beagles run £500 and up.

Then my stepdad's dad was working at a hunting stable, and they had a puppy too small for the hunt. We could have her if we made a donation of £25.

She's almost 10 weeks, and still needs a name. =)

Aaw, she's such a cute little puppy! <3 And there's a Cassi as well. =o

I don't know why, but the first name that popped into my head when I saw her was "Ani" (pronounced kinda like Ah-knee). I don't know... its kinda stupid... maybe...

I'll think of more later, perhaps. More likely than not. :P

I had a beagle puppy for a few months... but she developed some weird blood problem... and we had to put her to sleep.
Her name was Rosie.
I think thats the perfect name for a female beagle.
And this one looks a lot like her.
I hope you enjoy her.
And I hope your yard survives owning her!

Oh my gosh, so cute!!
I also live in an apartment with no yard, but as long as the dog isn't too big, things run smoothly.

She's gorgeous. If you give her a crap name, when I meet her I shall call her by a name I deem appropriate.

Ya know...
My dog was the runt of his litter; and he turned into the biggest dog my breeder ever had the pleasure of breeding.
Don't count on Runtyness to last forever... then again... how old is she?

You've gotta watch out for some things with Puppies.
For example:
If the Puppy grabs something you don't want him/her to grab, you don't play tug-a-war. You look into the Puppies eyes and say LET GO!
Or just pick up the Puppy and he/she will drop whatever it is.
I sorta learned that the hard way.
*pokes huge bite marks on foot and half ripped bloody sock*
Though, it's hard to grab the puppy when he/she is attatched to your foot.
And she wouldn't let go when I said to.
You have to also watch out that the puppy doesn't run off and pee on your floor.
Take the puppy directly outside when you think the puppy has to pee or poop.
Puppies usually bark or whine when they want to go outside.

Anyways, cute Beagle you got there!

Igg, what name would you deem appropriate, then?

Inrun, she's almost 10 weeks.

Adam, I've had two puppies in the past, I know how to raise them...one of them was pet store bought and a nightmare to train. Beagles, as a rule, are said to be fairly easy to housebreak, and she's pretty far along already, after only two days...of course, beagles are also big on eating whatever they can get their mouths on, but we've been keeping a close eye on her and she hasn't eaten anything she shouldn't yet. She doesn't drop things if you pick her up, but she will if you open her mouth...usually.

Everyone else, she's mine, and you can't have her. ::cuddles her::

Yeah... but whats her name?

That's a very good question. If I don't decide by the time the election results are in, it's Chuckles.
