I'm glad you guys weren't doing to much while I was gone...

Just as PPT went down, so did my PC. It all started at the beginning of April. My PC began to just restart after I was on it for an hour or so. Then it was 45 minutes. Then 30, then 15, then 5. Then I couldn't even get it to start up without rebooting. My dad took it in to a guy that he works with so he could fix it up.

He backed up our info, then our hard drive just died. Boy were we lucky. It has been about a week since that happened. We FINALLY got our pc back. Well, maybe not OUR pc. He put our info on a slightly newer PC. Now we have a pentium III processor (I'm KIND OF happy) and Windows XP (VERY HAPPY! SOOOOO MUCH EASIER ON THE EYES!)

But then we had another problem. We lost our wireless networking program. It wasn't on our PC and we couldn't find the disk. So we decided to try to get online using dial up and then we could download the program we needed.

But then we had another problem. There wasn't any place to plug the phone line into. So my mom and I had to open up the PC and install an ethernet card that had a place to plug in the phone line. I got online and downloaded the program. And that brings us to the present. IT'S SO GOOD TO BE BACK ONLINE

IT'S A WALL OF TEXT NO MORE!

If you recognised that you've written a wall of largely unpunctuated text that no one really wants to read, why didn't you go back and paragraph it a bit?

That was quite uncalled for. The "no one really wants to read" part at any rate.

Anyway, I'm glad you've got your computer fixed. It's so awful when computers break because they're the sort of things that you don't realise you need so much until you can't use them. You take them for granted. I know I could never live without the internet anyway XD

I'm not saying no one wants to read what he has to say, I'm saying a peice of impenetrable text (bear in mind some people have high resolution monitors) is not comfortable to read.
