:roflol: Oh Setekh! Poor you! I can't help but laugh though.

I once turned up to my friends sleepover 24 hours early. Bloody turned up on the wrong day didn't I? I felt like a right fool because the next day, she announced it to everyone and they all pointed and laughed. I still haven't lived it down four years later.

I've had one incident where it was a short day at school (start at 10:15), and I showed up at the normal 8:40 time. My dad just drove me back home. :P

My sister also had a different incident. As a nutritional sciences student in university, one of her assignments was to go to a local secondary school and examine the foods offered (vending machines, cafeteria...) and what students ordered. However, when she showed up, she only saw teachers- as it was a student holiday. Not only that, but the teachers thought she was a student of that school. :P

Once about 3 or 4 years ago, my mother worked 3rd shift and wasn't home when I wake up and go to school. I woke up like any other day, showered like any other day, and the grabbed my bookbag and went to the bus stop. Ended up standing there for at least half an hour before the old woman that lived in the house at my bus stop (on the corner) came out in her robe and asked me how I was doing. I told her I was just waiting for the school bus and she replied something like "Oh... son, today's Saturday."

I just said "Okay" and walked home, but I was throughly embarrassed and I switched bus stops to the one down the street. XD

I've had near-accidents like that, but never quite done it yet.

Nearly.

I woke up on a monday morning at 7am suddenly when my mum came in my room to use the bathroom (bathroom next to my room, my door blocks the way to bathroom, so she had to open the door before going into bathroom). I shot up with my eyes wide and mumbled, "SHOOT! IT'S 7. I'M LATE!" (usually I wake up at 6.30am) and then immediately realised it was half term and said in relief, "Oh. it's holiday." And went back to sleep. Out of the corner of my eyes I saw my mum standing there staring at me.

When I was about 7 years old, one day I went to school, and about halfway through the day, I realized that I had my nightgown on under the dress I was wearing. Oops.. I'd gotten dressed without taking off the nightgown.

I sort of had one of those days...

There was supposed to be a teacher strike (no school) on a friday, and my mom told me the day before so I told her I had a special class that wasn't part of my regular schedule so my teacher would show up, but she blew me off, and I basicly went to school for no reason that day >.<

I used to cycle to work before I could drive and I work in a neighbouring village...well, one morning just after Christmas I set out to go to work nice and early and cycled there in the dark through falling snow and sub-zero temperatures, about 4.5 miles cross country. When I got there I discovered we were closed that day. So I cycled back!

So you always go to school and find you're the only one there? ;)

I've actually never done that. I've came close about a million plus one times, but always at the last moment my memory kicks me in the face and says, "What are ye doing Sarah?" And then I scratch my head, realize my memory is right, skip back home and fall asleep.
