http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/3840101.stm

basicly, its infected much of the web, allowing whomevers made it to acces your computer, and potentually gain private information (bank details, if you use net banking for example)

the files are, Surf.dat and Kk32.dll if you have them on your computer (remember to perform a full search including hidden and system files) delete them with a up to date virus checker.
and for the record it can only affect those using internet explorer, so get a new one (the virus may be belign at the moment but may not be for long)
http://www.opera.no comes highly recomended

great, all we need are more viruses

Great...another one...

Microsoft should hire the hackers to work for them, they can try to hack IE with reasources at their backs to find loopholes like this before the malicious ones do.

More viruses, ugh...Microsoft needs to just trash IE and remake a whole new browser, because IE is just too many problems and would save Microdoft lots of money if they just did away with it, thankfully the next windows wont have IE with it kiddies so so be happy.

Is MSN Explorer IE-based?

Thanks for the info! After seeing the desktop thread, I'm trying out Firefox now. It's so fast! I already <3 it.

I agree that Internet Explorer should just be replaced...there are so many security holes and such that it's just a waste.
