Who speaks french?
I am actually speaking french ( my real language) and speaking perfectly english, studying japanese with my sister and Spanish at school.
I saw a lot in the poll saying what language would you like to speak that a lot of people would like to speak french...Sop who can speak french?

I can speak a little bit. I understand most of what is being said in french, but I tend to forget my verbs and vocab really easily which makes it even harder to speak it, add that to my horrible grammar and well you can understand why I avoid saying anything at all in french if i can avoid it.

That's the only problem as learning Frrnch..All the grammmars and verbs exceptions...Thats complicated.

I can pretty much have entire conversations in French. After seven years of it, you'd hope I could do at least that much.

As I said in the language poll, I have studied French for 2 years in school, but didn't take much intrest in it. Only after I finished with it, I began wanting to know how to speak it.
Right now, I can understand a simple written sentence, but not spoken... The french talk to fast

I have no desire whatsoever to learn French. That and my dad probably wouldn't let me x)

Technically, my French is great. I know all the grammar, I know lots of vocabulary.
However, I thought that about my German too, and when I wen ton the German exchange, I realised that I didn't know German as well as I thought. It's a different thing being able to speak German than it is to know German. I can recognise simple sentences, and I can speak similarly. I'm guessing it's the same for French. I can have a basic conversation, but I can't walk through France and understand everything the same way I can here

I'm taking French 1-2 in my junior year and 3-4 in senior year.
Since none of my family is French, I just haven't learned it.

A tiny itty bit. Enough to get me along in France without looking rude and ignorant. I studied German at school.

I used to be nearly fluent during university, but many years of disuse has left me a bit rusty. I can still carry on conversations though, as long as I have a dictionary nearby so I can look up vocab on occasion.
My Japanese is a bit better than my French nowadays. Possibly because I hear Japanese almost every night while watching anime. It's a learning tool, I tell ya. ^_- I didn't take Japanese for nearly as long as French, but Japanese was my minor at university.

Just a little little bit.
They
try to teach us French in school, but, of course, nobody ever listens or takes it seriously enough.
And I don't care.

Right now it's vile, but future job opportunities will require I learn it.

French. Well, hm, I know how to speak it (I guess), I mean, I can have a conversation with someone but my grammar won't be the best. Grammar is easy if I actually spend time on it but I prefer not too. Sometimes I can forget words so I just use the english words instead, it's called "Franglais".

To make a long story short I started to study it four years ago but started to read the courses all over two years ago again, since I didn't have any other choice, so basically I've studied it for two years.
I can have an okay conversation so far I think

Not perfectly but I can have a conversation. I can easily understand it, just the talking part is bit harder.
One of the least attractive languages in the world though. T_T
