Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Okay, yesterday was my sister's birthday and my parents got her a 13ft trampoline. I really like it and spent more time on it than she did. I was on it for around 5 hours yesterday all together. Today I woke up and my back is absolutely killing me, along with neck and leg pains too. I can ignore these but if I so much as jump then they return. Is there any way to get rid of these?

Rest.
You're unlikely to have done any major harm, it just seems like all over-muscle ache because you over-exerted yourself. Seriously, get a lot of lying down doing nothing in and some gentle stretching exercises so you don't sieze up.

Couldn't hurt to spend a night sleeping on the floor, either, if you've got the space. That'll stretch you out sumpin' good, hoo-doggie.

Oh it could. Hurts me a helluva lot to sleep on a hard floor, but I'm probably too far gone in the back pain area

Err, doesn't that make you feel even
worse?

I would have to agree with Igg. I would think you just overworked your muscles. I experienced something along the lines of what you're experiencing the day after we played football for about two and a half hours.
As for a remedy, I would also second what Igg said. The pain tends to go away after a few days. If you're looking for immediate relief, I suppose you could take a look at those muscle patches (ex: Icy Hot Patch).

Might hurt for a while...dpends what you've done. But sleeping on a hard, flat floor is a tried and tested remedy for back pain...doesn't work with everything, like myself which is more nerval than muscular pain, but it's good for lots of back complaints
And yes, Icy Hot patches...also some sort of embrocation like Deep Heat.

Yea its just over working your muscles. I've just done three days of 12 hour band(each day) and I'm so sore its not funny. Just sleep on a semi hard surface and Icy Hot patches work good. The best thing is to just rest.

Well I have a trampoline, and quite frankly, how it could keep you amused for five hours is beyond me. Unless it was obscenely large.
Anyway, just don't spend so much time on it.

well, when it's a new trampoline and it belongs to you, it can be quite amusing

I remember when I first got mine, at...oh I don't know, I think I was 8ish. I could spend hours jumping on it with my friends, particularly if a sprinkler was involved.
'course, when I was doing that was the time I fell off the trampoline and broke my fall with the trunk of a nearby tree. that was fun.
hot baths can help with muscles soreness too. whenever I had back issues with the trampoline, I just went easy on the bouncing for awhile and it eventually went away of its own accord.

Thanks everyone, it's almost gone today. It's fun to watch people bounce, then try it myself, then come off 10 seconds later because my back hurts.

Get the fat kid on it, so that when he comes down, you get hurled into the air. Magic.

Oh but I am the master of double bouncing
other people.
Infact, when I was still small enough to be able to fit two people (me + brother) on the trampoline, we would use it to stage aerial battles. A fine New Zealand pastime of paramount safety and ingenuity.

I wish I lived there

You live in New Zealand Christopher? I'm with Igg on this one, I want to live there too. Did you see any LOTR people? New Zealand is just a amazing country.
