How Do You Buy Your Milk?

Fri Aug 19, 2005 11:40 pm

I buy my milk in bags, but some people have never seemed to heard of the milk bag. If you want to learn more:

Anyway, how do you buy your milk?

Milk in bags is the weirdest thing I've ever heard of.

You crazy northerners.

Milk in a bag, because I'm a crazy northener.

...they sell milk in bags? Down here it's either carton or jug, take your pick.

I buy my milk in jugs, btw.

I used to buy my milk in the 1 pint bottles, and still couldn't go through it all before the expiration 1-2 weeks later. I don't like milk. But now I buy one quart cartons. Still don't go through it all, but I'm using more than before, so it's all good. Except for when it goes bad before the expiration date. That wasn't funny. >_<

I believe I've heard of milk being sold in bags before, although it's not done in my area.

Ok.
Lets get something strait don't say "Northerners" about milk in a bag.
Say "People from Eastern Canada".
Albertans at least, do not have milk in bags!

*buys it in a jug; milk in cartons tastes weird*

Eww...milk comes in bags?

*gags*

We buy cartons or jugs. (Quarts, half-gallons, gallons.)

But I don't drink milk. I can't...it makes me gag.

We buy it in jugs.
Can't say I've heard of milk in bags before... weird.

We used to buy the bags, but as I got older, my sister and I didn't really like it as much. Now in my house the only thing milk is really used for is cooking, so we just buy the cartons becausee we don't drink enough of it to get any more than that.

In a carton like a normal person.

I buy it in a bag... I think it's a little cheaper, but I'm not sure about that.

Sometimes, cartons, but only if we can't find the type we want or we're going on vacation and are bringing it along or something like that.

I agree with ahoteinrun, never heard of milk bags in my life, and since northerners i assume canada than i guess milk bags come from the wors-i mean equal part of canada the eastern part.=D The western part is normal. I buy my milk in cartons use to be jugs but since i'm the only person who drinks milks now cartons come in smaller sizes so yea.

Both the plastic-jug things, and cartons.

I didn't know what the bag things were until I looked at the pictures, and I think I saw them in China once ... xP
