At least 2. I like foam pillows better, because they go down less with pressure.

I need 2, because I sleep on my side and have a back problem.

I have nine pillows on my bed, of various sizes. I can't sleep if one isn't there. I don't care what they're made of, as long as they're pillowy.

I sleep with one unfeathered pillow. My dad is allergic to feathers, thusly, I probably am, and I don't want to risk not being able to breathe well in the middle of the night, thankyouverymuch.

I sleep with one thin pillow, under my neck, and I typically sleep flat on my back.

I use two, one firm to keep my head elevated, then a nice soft one on top of the firm one so it's comfy. I can't handle using only one pillow very well. I have a difficult time breathing at night if I do.

Pillow? Ha! Real men don't need pillows! Real men sleep on beds of broken glass over cinder blocks, with nothing but a sheet of plywood to keep you warm and an old newspaper to keep you company!!

My bed is really uncomfortable, so I'm also sleeping on top of pillows.
