One of the greatest football (soccer) players the world has ever seen.
He played for Manchester United and Northern Ireland in the 1960's.

Look him up on wikipedia here

That would be quite tragic.

George Best died from what, multiple organ failure? Too much alcohol, it seems.

Sad news, not unexpected. RIP.

Yea, the doctors said that he would probably die within the next 24 hours. I guess that it's tragic.

One question though. Am I correct in thinking that the medicine that helps to prevent your body from rejecting a donated organ is also lowers your immune system?

Yes.

Most definitely. I've been taking it since May, although for other medical reasons.

I can't call it tragic. Besty never thought of his life as a tragedy- he lived it the way he chose to, and enjoyed it. Fantastic player.

Doctor comes to george best. He says he's got good news and bad news.

"The bad news is you're going to die in one hour"
what the heck is the good news then?
"it's happy hour!"

Dude, at least leave it a week or so!

I'll darn well leave it a week or so when someone recognises that MR MIYAGI IS DEAD, rather than pouriing all their emotional energy in Captain Sclerosis.
