I am a ditz.

This is a story about how generally crazy I am.

Okay I woke up in the middle of the night, and I looked at my bedside clock.

It said 2:55 am.

However I read this as 5:55 am and turned on my light and started to get dressed for school.

I looked at my clock again, this time reading it as 2:55 am.

So what do I do?

I start ranting and raving in my head how someone is trying to sabotage me getting to school on time and they purposely changed my clock and turned my alarm off so I would get up.

So I looked at my cell phone, which has a clock on it, so I would set it up right.

However, my mind still didn't register that it was 2:55 am and not 5:55 am.

So I fix my bedside clock ahead 3 more hours.

I am almost halfway done getting dressed when something triggers me to look at my cell phone clock again.

This time I get it.

I groan out, "I am so stupid!"

Got undressed, turned out the light, went back to sleep.

Do you guys have any funny stories that are similar or not?

Im still up.
Ive been up since who-knows-when two days ago.

And im still really happy :D

Good luck with the severe mental and psychological Trauma.
Been there, done that, have the memory loss to prove it.
Probably wouldnt survive another bout.

Thats amusing.


Once someone woke me up, screaming I would be late and I was supposed to be at work 10 minutes ago. Of course, I jump up, start freaking out that I'll be late. I don't realise who it was who called me. I get ready, dressed, run to the car. I turn on the car, see the clock and realise its 3:00am. I realise who it was that said it, run back inside go back to bed and start to plan revenge.

It was my best friend, we're always having practical joke wars. Anyone know anything good? heh heh heh..
