Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

For the last two days, in chemistry class, we've been watching these weird educational videos. The first one was about organic chemistry, and it was made by a group of students called The Standard Deviants. It got pretty deviant when they did a skit about "covalent bondage" (I'm seriously not kidding). They also had this guy who would always talk like a pirate, and makes jokes about Republicans. The video we watched today was about forensic science, and was okay for the most part, except when they showed footage of a dead, naked man. I'm wondering if my teacher watched these videos before showing them to us IN CLASS. Ironically, they don't let us watch any actual movies rated higher than PG without parental permission.

Interesting videos. That made me think my HS chem class. Our teacher would make up songs about the topics that would be on the coming up test. Really fun and funny. His best, though, was the one he did on our last day of class. It was a send off to the school year to the music of REM's 'End of the World as We Know It.' I still think about it at the end of every quarter/semester. Speaking of songs in HS, my US history teacher made a mix tape of songs from the 60s and 70s that we would listen to.
Ah! I finally thought of a video. In my first college physics class we watched a 'special' on rotational velocities, inertias, forces, etc. The special was the Mythbusters investigation into exploding CDs. It turns out at that CDs can explode in your CD drive, except the drive never gets that fast. The best was when they rigged a CD onto a modified hand drill to spin it at about 60k RPM. The CD flew apart in milliseconds.

Be thankful you didn't have to watch a naked, pregnant woman giving birth (With closeups) in a hospital (I hope at least).

Oh, lord, we saw that x_x Although I was pretty inclined to watch the table during all of the grosser parts.
We watched a really weird video about rocks once, too. It involved a fat guy with a yellow shirt on a rollercoaster.

We didn't have to watch anything too off the wall...
... though sitting through a 45 minute slide presentation about certain transmitted diseases was probably something that I would have been better off not seeing...

At least it wasn't your mom (hopefully). I saw it too.
Hmm..
Had to watch this movie about crystals. It was a bunch of 7 year olds trying to be cool.

The only weird video's we have seen have been one about 'Harry The Hydrocabon' and one from the Open University in which a guy demonstrated the reactivity series by throwing dropping a lump of caesium into a bathtub.
I need to get my hands on some caesium now...

Any health video is a weird video.
Last year, my Spanish class watched a series of videos that were supposed to help us understand Spanish better via listening, I guess. They were interesting, for the lack of a better word.

Foreign language videos are the best. It's a shame I gave up German for Latin.
Health has the ODDEST movies, though. We saw the live birth one (Or I guess the rest of the class did, I didn't look.), and this really really weird movie where two angels with 1337 80's special effects powers go to sit in on a sex ed class. They had red halos and were wearing lacy tablecloths.
I think I saw the Standard Deviants nutrition thing, too....'Twas most frighting.

In my HS Italian class, we would watch Italian movies (no duh). One was a very vulgar movie about a grade school teacher teaching in the slums while waiting for a better post to open up in Tuscany. If that movie was ever shown in America, ever other word the kids said would have to be bleeped. It was hilarious (sp?)

We would also watch our teachers favorite clip of a spelling bee where the contestant took 30 min to spell the word. The clip was cut down to about 5 min, but it was still funny. The girl spelled the word correct, but ran off stage to go to the bathroom before she heard that she was correct

Anything science related which was made in England... augh.
Any video you watch in math.
And, anything that contains the phrase "Bill Nye".
