I'm leaving on Sunday, and I'm going to H.K!
I'll be away for 5 weeks, so I won't post much (nobody would notice any difference anyway). Erm...it's
kinda hot there, so I need some tips! Lol, annoyingly, some people died of the heat in H.K
and there's that mosquito problem thing...erm...any tips?

I guess....bug repellent? Only thing I can think of. Have fun, though!

Yes, plenty of water and hide in the shade. H.K is also very crowded, so that doesn't really help -_-

I always take an item of self defence when I'm going to somewhere I've never been before or I'm not familiar with. A map highlighting areas of safety like police station, hospital.
But then again, I always feel insecure on holidays...

Hong Kong's boiling. The temperatures are in the mid 30s, and the humidex is in the high 40s (I'm talking Celsius here). Stay indoors and you'll be fine, there's almost an aircon everywhere you go.
I recommend malls.
Have fun!

Would the mosquito problem be West Nile, by any chance? If so, don't worry about it that much, just be aware that it's there. One of the teachers at my school got it and just had something like the flu for three days.
Have fun! ^_^

But...can't that kill you? (Sorry if I scare anyone with that question ^^;)
