Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

A late announcement, but Happy Pi Day everyone! It started at 1:59 (That is 3.14159 to those paying attention)
It is also Einstein's b-day. So we have many reasons to celebrate.
Happy Pi Day!

Happy Pi Day, Everyone!
MSN Encarta wrote:Albert Einstein (1879-1955), German-born American physicist and Nobel laureate, best known as the creator of the special and general theories of relativity and for his bold hypothesis concerning the particle nature of light. He is perhaps the most well-known scientist of the 20th century.
Einstein was born in Ulm on March 14, 1879, and spent his youth in Munich, where his family owned a small shop that manufactured electric machinery. He did not talk until the age of three, but even as a youth he showed a brilliant curiosity about nature and an ability to understand difficult mathematical concepts. At the age of 12 he taught himself Euclidean geometry.

Did you know: After Einstein created his theory of relativity he spent the rest of his life trying to disprove it.
The mark of a true scientist?
Not really, it was just that his own theory disproved his vision of G-D and he was consumed by what he had done to his own faith.
Pwned basicly.

I wish I could remember all the numbers in Pi, but I’m too lazy to learn them lol. Anyhoo, without Pi, we couldn’t work out the circumference of circles, thus circles wouldn’t exist! And circles are great things. So yay for Pi.

Hehe...a friend and I did an improv in front of my math class...let's see what I can remember of it...
Me: Did you watch American PI-dol last night!
Haley: YES! Did you see that one girl...who totally messed up?
Me: Yeah! Jeez, she was on the 354th digit, she could at least try singing it right
Haley: Yeah. But Pi-mon (simon) didn't even notice!
Me: Yeah...he was just sitting there eating his pie.
Haley: Yeah...
(long silence)
Me: So have you read the bible?
Haley: What?!
Me: Yeah...there's pi in there...in the thing...with...you know...the kings.
Haley: Oh. Um. Yeah...you're talking about...that one king, right?
Me: Um...the Book of Kings.
Haley: ...
Me: You're one of those atheist types, aren't you?
Haley: ....I believe in Pi.
Me: ...
Haley: Really, see...I believe that numbers created the universe...there's proof!
Me: It's a Cons-pi-racy!!
And at that point everyone was laughing so hard we had to stop.

Hehe. 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197169399375105820974944 is all I know. In Compass, a class I have at school*, the teacher had written on the board, "Pi day is tomorrow! How much pi do you know?" (Where it says pi in this post, it was the pi symbol.) So I wrote those sixty digits on the board in red marker, and wrote "is all I know" after it. When I came in the next day, someone had written about sixty more in blue, and someone else had continued the blue with about a hundred fifty in green. Then they wrote, "I'm done." I was all, "O_O Someone knows more pi than me?!!"
*Compass isn't really a class. It's more like a hangout for kids with certain kinds of problems. There's about three or four kids in each block. My block used to have four including me, but then one person's schedule changed, and now it's not as fun.
**When you say how many digits you know of pi, do you only count the numbers after the decimal point? That's how I think it is, but I'm not sure...

lol. I wanted to wish my geometry teacher a happy pi day, but we had a snow day at school. So he wished it to us the next day, and I had completely forgotten. XD

Same thing happened with me. I remembered that it was Pi Day and Einsein's b-day ten minutes after I turned in my final. Any extra points went down the tubes

Happy Pi Day! And Happy birthday Einstein!
Apparently, Einstein had Asperger Syndrome, and that's what I've got so now I feel REALLY clever
But it's just an illusion. I'm not really clever at all!

Another topic that won't die.
Sigh.
Fifteen-year-old show off likes pi.
Kid must not have been that smart if he wanted a X-Box

(Just joking. X-Box is cool)
