Junk Food or Healthy Food?

Mon Mar 27, 2006 3:44 pm

While I was stuffing my face with some crisps, I thought this would make a good poll.

Do you eat more junk food or more healthy stuff?

I eat mostly healthy food. No "fast food" though. (note; different from junk food)

It used to be junk food (I know, I know ) but since choosing to follow a more energetic career path, I've had to start eating more healthy stuff. So yes, I've replaced a fat laden diet with a carb laden one. *sigh*

Well, I very often eat vegetables with my dinner and I only drink water. My dinners are very often healthy because I love vegetables, pasta, potatoes, anything like that. But I also eat a lot of chocolate and fatty foods so I can't really tell whether I eat too much of healthy or junk food. I guess it's about half each. I'm cutting down on chocolate though because I think it's chocolate that is giving me headache.

Junk food, fo' shizzle. There are a lot of "healthy" foods that I eat (or at least foods people think are healthy) that really aren't that healthy.

Complete junk. No fast food, though, generally.

I try to lean healthy as much as I can. I don't like chips as a snack. Actually, I try harder not to snack than to eat right. Once you cut snacking out, eating more balanced meals is easier.

Overall, I eat more real foods that processed, but it is not necessarily healthy.

If it is in front of me, I will eat it.

I guess both, but more emphasis on the junk food. I'm sort of a picky eater. For example, I hate mushrooms, olives, pickles, tomatoes (unless it's tomato sauce or ketchup), and zucchini (unless it's fried xD). However, there are a few healthy foods I eat.

Oh, and despite what anyone says, McDonald's is its own food category.

I think that for me, it's split pretty evenly between healthy and junk food. I usually eat sandwiches for lunch, pasta and vegetables for dinner. But I do love the cookies too, which I can definitely eat quite a few of in one sitting. I would love to eat healthier. Maybe once I get my life in order... :P

I eat mostly healthy food. For takeaways and stuff I have Indian or Kebabs which are far tastier and healthier than fast food chains, and my worst has got to be pizzas.

I think it's pretty balanced.

I agree with Dragonfire- snacking is definitely what leads to the most junk food in you, and since I have not eaten one snack in a few months... I've cut down drastically. Not that I am trying to say that snacks are bad, because they aren't- if they're good for you. Otherwise I think they're pointless.

I eat a lot more healthy food than junk food as my stomach complains otherwise x) Also I have no sweet tooth which helps. My main vice is an addiction to crisps :D

Sometimes I'm all health maniac and the other I want some pie. I like dough a lot. Soft pretzels, pizza.. mmm, dough. o_O I'm also a McDonalds addict.. though I usually eat cereal with fruit for breakfast, but don't eat lunch since I get up so late.. (why am I still fat then?) I like burritos too.. hm. I guess I'm working on healthy then.
