Ugh. Getting my wisdom teeth removed was probably the worst experience of my life so far. I was miserable for quite some time. Although, I certainly hope that your experience goes much better than mine. Seeing as you are up to typing and not writhing in pain on the floor, though, I can already tell that you are better off than I was. Hope you are back to eating solids soon. ;D

Ouch! That must've hurt. Did you get to keep your tooth? You oculd ruin soft drinks for everyone by putting the tooth in a cup of Coke or some other soft drink overnight, then show your class....and they'll be speechless :evil:

Well, I don't know anything that can help you, as I haven't got any similiar experience before. It must be difficult to try to ignore the pain...>_<

I had mine removed around a month ago. The week after was awful. I was hungry and miserable the entire time. Hope you fare better!

I think I may have had the worst dentist possible. I have never spoken to anyone who was in pain for longer than a week and a half.

Ohhhhhhh,ouch. I am sure I'll be in for that in a few years. *shivers* I hope you feel better soon. In the mean time...pig out on ice cream,maybe? I'd take advantage of the excuse to eat it.;) (As I am on a diet and I'm having a seriously hard time trying to resist sweets..)

As a fellow tooth-pull-ey I understand. I still have my four teeth from whence they were pulled. They sit in the draw beside the computer :D

How old are you Midnight? Because my orthodontist says I mite have my wisdom teeth pulled because there growing on ana angle and pushing my teeth forward or something like that, but I'm only 15, never knew of anyone gettin ghtem taken out at this early of age but I'm hoping I get to keep them, don't want to endure more pain...I know I'm not helpinf their.

But hope that pain stops, my dad had his wisdom teeth pulled and he pulled out ok. So just hang in their and eat lots of cold stuff.

I was 18 when mine were pulled, but I know of some people who had their teeth grow in quite early. Somewhere between 16 and 18 is usually an average time to get them removed, if it is necessary.
My teeth grew in the wrong way. Rather than up they grew in horizontally. {As in ---> rather than ^. Blech.}

I need to get mine pulled out. Every time I chew, I bite the side of my mouth with them.

15? I got them out when you're 10. Hurts like hell. :cry: Try didnt numb it or anything.

I feel for ya, Midnight. At least you don't have to dread it anymore. :)

Thats the truth. I'm 15 in september, but let me tell you, I really am glad I won't need to take to other two out at a later time (because they are all out!) hehe, I was the most lively of anyone there, I kept trying to get out of the bed, and talk. I actually tried to write them a note, asking whether my mom was okay, although it really didn't look like I wrote legibly...probably still too drugged to remember how to properly form the words. Hehe. I'm not one to let myself be in too much pain. The whole point of sitting in the dark, waiting to heal, is to fully experience the pain. I'd rather be an up and about chipmunk (literally) hehe.

Ouch. Thank goodness for my big mouth (everything fits with room to spare). Ouch, ouch, ouch. I'd never be able to do that......
