Behold, Axalon the Albino axolotl.
Not an actual pic for the moment I'm afradi, but a Quick Google gives you this.
He is a coldwater... Lizard fish thing that feeds on earthworms and mosquito larvae, and will grow to about a foot in length (Even in Captivity)
I'm already training him to feed on human flesh.
Kudos to any who know what the Axalon is ofcourse.
edit: Mine is less pink than that one.

I love these little guys! I still have no idea how to pronounce it, though.
I just showed my mom the picture, and she too said "It looks like a Pokemon!"

I always pronounce it axo-lot-ul. Well, I say always, the word doesn't actually pop up in my daily vocabulary all that much XD

Yep, you are right.
It's a Mayan word (Or was it Aztec... well whatever) Though for the life of me WW1 and Lord Liverpool have kinda pushed it's meaning out of my mind.

That is one awesome creature that I've never heard of or even seen before. How long do they live?

We used to have one at school called Arthur, but he died. Then we got another one, who never got named, but I think he's dead now too

Our Biology teacher had one too, though he also died. Probably because some people kept on feeding the poor thing skittles.
