Wow! that's pretty insane! they probably made it a gif-style image, and get 256 images to represent the images. still looks really cool though

There aren't enough unique images -- if you zoom in on a dark region of a picture, you can see the four black images used. It's a nice concept, really, but they need a bigger image pool (it seems likely that the process of actually creating the imagemaps is automated, so someone should just send those guys more photos!).
