What type of "mood" is your playlist?

Wed Jun 14, 2006 11:05 pm

As the question asks, when looking at your playlist of songs, what do you find most of them relate to? Happiness, anger, love, etc... ?

I just browsed my list (As I have nothing better to do) and found I have more sad songs than anything else. However, lately I've been listening to happier songs.

As for you guys?

I have songs for when I am happy, songs for when I am sad, songs for when I am angry, etc. I don't have one specific mood.

Ditto. Except for the angry mood. I have songs for when I'm angry, for when I'm sad or when I'm feeling proud. The proudness is a weird one because I always listen to dramatic songs. It kind of emphasises the proudness that I feel about myself.

Neither do I.

I'm simply saying if you overview your whole playlist, what is the most dominant "mood" of your songs?

I'm simply saying I don't have one specific one...? It's all pretty equal...

Most dominant mood is sadness for me, I think.

It's all pretty angry. I have a few hyper songs, and a few sad songs, but.. Anger is dominant.

Well, my playlist consists primarily of RENT and fiddle music. So I guess... I dunno what that'd be considered. I guess love maybe, but I've also got blusey/swingy/bluegrassy stuff and bend it like beckham soundtrack and paul simon and some other random songs. Which sort of offsets that. Well, maybe not the b/s/b stuff. But the other stuff yes. I guess my music doesn't really have a specific mood that it follows all the way through.

Almost all instumental. It's mixed up.
Angry- eases my discontent.
Psychotic- makes me energetic.
Easy listening- gets me relaxed.
(yeah, total contrast I know)
Happy music irritates me. Sad music is neutral.

I dunno...fast? Is fast a mood?

Ah. Well, I don't really have moods... although I guess a lot of them are love/breaking up songs? o-O

Most of them are just fun to sing to. If they are fun to sing to, or to listen to, I have them on there. :P

Mostly happy and fast, or mellow but not sad. There's a couple sad ones in there, but they're catchy enough to keep.

(Oh, and whimsical is a favourite. Any recommendations, send 'em my way. :P)

I have mood music and judge not on mood. I enjoy it all at any time, except maybe for Weird Al Yankovic.

My Grandma dies, I'm not turning "Jurassic Park" on.

Perhaps 'I want to be mellow when I'm dead' then? :P
