On Wednesday im going to Canadafor ten days. I cant see any cities or anything because its conoeing up from minnosota or something like that and going into the boundry waters i think. But we cross the border in a boat/conoe. Then we go up to a waterfall (i forgot the name.. im trying to use google earth but it doesnt really show where i think it is...) and we have to go thru portagies (sp?).
Overall it seems pretty fun...but im really excited about the plane trip. I've only been on a plane once and i was like 6 ish.. and my older brother wouldnt let me play on his gameboy.. :cry:
I'll see if i can figure out how to get some pictures up when i get back...

Ugh, I just looked up on where Moose Lake is, and now I'm sad. I JUST moved from Manitoba (my home province) almost a year ago! If I didn't move, I would've came and welcomed you to the wonderful, yet sometimes cold, place of Canada, haha!

EDIT: Ok, so I just noticed when I googled Moose Lake, that there was also one in Alberta...but since you said you were entering "prairie portage", I'm taking a guess that you are still going to Manitoba, because Alberta sure ain't no prairie, lol. If I'm wrong though, tell me :P

What do you mean Alberta ain't no prairie? Have you even been to Southern Alberta? Lethbridge and area maybe?! It's bloody flat! FLAT!
There aren't no hills! I should know! I live there! It's so flat, that there's nothing but wind!

Southern Alberta is so flat, it farms wind!

...

Edmonton is so much better. Better then Lethbridge. Better then Calgary. Really it's just the best part of Alberta. Up north there's too many biting bugs. Down south it's flat and windy (and treeless), and nobody likes Calgary.

Edmonton = Awesome

Well, I'm not a big fan of Alberta, And Manitoba, totally flat, you can see your dog run away for days and days.

Edmonton and Calgary (sadly thats where I live now), I hate both, but, it's better then back in Manitoba on an army base no one has heard of!

Alberta is great. I love it. Just Calgary sucks. And the shifting pressures in Lethbridge made me emotional and nuts. Edmonton rocks. And it's better to navigate then Calgary. And it doesn't have the Deerfoot!

...

And yet i'm still going to move to Newfoundland/Nova Scotia... hmm.

I'm going to be moving there soon too, but to Newfoundland, with my bf, back to his hometown, Gander, probably, who knows.

And yes, that dang Deerfoot road isn't cool!! But then again, neither is Blackfoot.
