Us Americans are simple. Australian, English, whatever. (Don't even get us started about different regional accents of those :o)

That happened to me when I was there too! I don't know how they're so easily confused - they're so different!

Take photos. And then send them to me :D

True.

If you at any point sound like you're sticking a U in places it doesn't belong, if you've ever not enunciated your Rs, or if you say practice with an S, you're English.

If you don't, you're something else.

To quote John Cleese,

3. You should learn to distinguish the English and Australian accents. It really isn't that difficult.

I think my favourite bit is when he's talking to the mother who thinks her daughter is overweight and wants to get her a sugarless cake.

It's worse if you're a New Zealander. Every representation of you in American media has an Australian accent.

So apparently the Americans do know the difference between Australian and English, they just can't be bothered trying :P

That's a GREAT one as well! I think House is just great all in all.

Kym, you should go request a star in the walk of fame, and if they require a signed petition just show them this forum and site xD

When was the last time a New Zealander was represented in American media? That's almost as rare as Houston being mentioned.

My favorite House exchange is when he's telling Cuddy how he knows when she's having her period.
