If y'all haven't heard about it, this Canadian named Kyle Macdonald started out a year ago with one red paperclip. His goal was to keep trading the paperclip until he got a house in a year.
Well, this past Wednesday he did it. On July 12th he signed the title to the house in Kipling, Saskatchewan. He traded a paid, credited movie role for the house. The town itself actually gave him the offer, which included (besides the house) the key to Kipling, Honorary Mayor for a day, and Honorary Lifelong Citizen.
His blog is
here.
I think I remember reading about it last year, and I think it was a great idea, and I'm glad that he actually did it.
