...I created a topic ranting desperately about my piano exam? [Grade 6, ABRSM]
Well, the results are out.
I passed! I passed! I'm a full-fledged, certified, passed, Grade 6 pianist! And I thought I failed! =DDD I know I barely passed, the passing mark was 100, I got 104, but still!
Well, my sister did fail, she got 88...but, I guess that was kind of expected, as she wasn't even properly prepared for the exam.

Anyone who passes by more than 3 marks is better than me. I got 72/100 and the pass mark was 70.

Thats cool, my sister does piano also, sorta...she hasn't taken an exam though.
But atleast you passed, I'd just be happy for that at the moment.

I've always wanted to play the piano, but my parents wouldn't pay for lessons, so I just fiddle. I do play clarinet, though.

Level 6 is very hard. I passed it with 109 a couple of years ago, but my teacher wasn't too happy because she has incredibly high standards. Most of her students get Distinction.
Now she wants me to resume the exams by skipping level 7 and taking level 8 this spring.

yay, congrats ^^ what grade are you taking next? I would suggest grade 8 since grade 7 and 8 don't have MUCH difference (according to my piano teacher o.0)

Grade 8, I think. I have to finish Grade 8 before the end of next year due to personal reasons.
