Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

I am going to college! It's called Conestoga College and I'm taking a general arts and science course for the 1st year. I'm not really sure what I want to do yet so it gives me some time. I am so excited. Its about a 45 minute drive from here so I get to live on my own which is totaly exciting. I can't wait to move in. I am going to living in a house with 8 people and my room has a fire place. I thought it was the best room in the house because of that. I can't use it though, I think its blocked off. I hope it is at least, I really don't want animals climbing down into my room.
Anyways, I know some people on ppt who are going to college/university this year but who else is? Post what program, or courses you are taking and if you are living at home and stuff like that.

I'm still too young to go to college/uni [though I did go to uni for a week this year, and to a college for a day ;P] but congrats!

I'm going into my fourth year of my Bachelor of Fine Arts, and I live by myself about 6 hours (*ahem* 5 hours if you know how to drive right...) away from home.
I attend the University of Lethbridge in Southern Alberta. My uni is supposed to look like a cruise ship lit up at night when it's dark out. I think it looks like a university built into the coolies and ready to fall in. But what would I know? The uni boasts the largest public art collection in Alberta, and is pretty cool. It just sucks because there are LOTS of stairs since the darn thing was built going down. It's very odd.
Anyways. Good luck with your endevors. I'll be taking a second degree (in who knows what) but ah well.

I'm starting my first year at uni at Widener University. It's in Chester, PA (you know, where that horse Barbarro is or something). It's about 40 minutes from my house which isn't too bad. I'm majoring in Biology and my courses right now are Biology 161, Math 101, English 101, Criminal Justice 105 and PE 101. The PE part, you just pick what classes you want. I'm hoping to get a martial arts class! I'm living with another girl in a dormitory. She's a friend of mine and we met from myspace a while back.

Junior year physics at Cal Poly - SLO
I have only major courses left, and only one is a lower division class. I get to happily take the Quantum Mechanics Lab as a good part of my coursework this year. On a bonus note, regular Mechanics will also be taken (as well as that last lower class). For side courses, I am free to take Japanese and Astronomy to fill out the schedule. Although the best part of the year will be the Spring Quarter with the Poly at Sea program. Spending a few months touring the Pacific, taking classes, going AWOL in Vietnam and turning state secrets to the Commies... Wait! Scratch that last part. I'll go AWOL in Korea or Hong Kong and flee north
Great campus too. Built on a hill... I get to have cross campus classes this quarter... Well, I've been needing to lose some weight.
I live in the house my dad has lived at most of my life. I get the entire downstairs to myself. Free rent and food. A bit of a chauffeur servise since I am still licence less. Only 30 min to school with a drive, a bit longer in reality since it is easiest on all of us for me to take the bus.
All told, plenty of fun here. Other programs offered: work on the Rose Parade float, do lab work for the radiation testing for the local nuclear plant.

Aww...I was going to make a topic about college...
But I can tell you for sure that, right now, I'm in my first dorm ever. Just moved in today.

I'm at Millersville University, PA, and I'm majoring in Music Education.

It's nice to see what all of you are up to, educationally speaking.
I'm still a high school junior, but I'm taking some courses at the local community college as part of a dual-enrollment program. I'm taking European History and Organic Chemistry this semester.
I'm having a lot of fun so far.

I'm a college freshman, and thus this is the first time I've lived in a dorm. I moved in yesterday. I'm going to the University of Texas- Arlington for a year, then I'm transferring to the University of Texas at Austin (College Football Champions of 2005, oh yea!) for my sophomore year (they actually have a program for that
![Cheeky Tongue :P](./images/smilies/icon_tongue.gif)
). When I get to UT Austin I'm going to major in Computer Science.
And I'm having a blast at the dorms so far. One of my two RAs is from Australia (well, he was born in Texas, but his family is from Australia and grew up there).

I'm just going to a crappy city (community) college. I live at home. It's so much cheaper than other colleges (about $1500 a year) but I was going to go to one called Chico State, which is only about 100 miles away. I would have lived in a dorm...my parents kind of pressured me into staying home. I'm not happy with the decision. :| It IS known as a party school though, so maybe it is for the best?

Well I just did one year at the University of Manitoba, and now starting on Monday, I'll be taking a 2 year course to become a Computer Analyst/Programmer at Red River College. :)
I'll still be living at home while I'm there. School is about 45 minutes away for me (25 to get in to the city, then probably about another 20 to get to the school). I'll most likely be crashing at various friends and family members houses throughout the year on the nights that I work after school or don't feel like driving home. I've already had a few people offer me spare keys to their houses. lol
