Anything and everything goes in here... within reason.

Tonight (October 6) is the night when the moon is supposedly the fullest and roundest. ^_^
If I remember rightly, in Hong Kong at least, you should wait until 11:54 PM and look at 72' to see the best view of the moon.
Last night was the night to 'welcome' the moon, and tomorrow will be 'chasing' the moon goodbye. So says the TV. I never knew we had special nights before and after the actual mid-autumn festival!
It's a time of eating mooncakes and round fruits with your family. I haven't had any mooncakes yet this year, surprisingly, so we'll have some tonight. Some people will be out with lanterns and walking the streets.
So keep an eye out for the moon tonight and happy mid-autumn festival!

I was thinking last night the moon looked really round.

It's all cloudy....
Oh, happy mid-autumn festival!

Ooh! That should be really cool to see. Unfortunately, it's really cloudy... so I hope the clouds will go away. ;_;

They say all the weirdos come out at the full moon... well, I'm gonna be out tonight, so I guess it's true!

I was looking at the moon last night. It had a weird blue glow.

It was unusually bright last night. Everything that wasn't covered by trees were lit up enough that it looked a bit more like an overcast day or early evening rather than a clear night. It was a bit blinding. I'll have to check it tonight as well.

I am so glad the fog and clouds have cleared. The moon looks great tonight. Damn. I should have gone to the campus observatory during their open hours yesterday. I heard they just looked at the moon all night. Oh well. Maybe next week they will be doing something just as cool next week.

Wow, where do you live? It's about 47 here. (well, warmer than yesterday).
I went out and watched it, and it's as much as I expected. Extremely bright, enough to light up our yard a bit. It's very nice.

the moon was strangely huge last night, and it's never that big in Toronto.
Had some good meaning otherwise.

Thanks for that bit of knowledge Lillie. I told all my friends this last night while we were hopping bars: "The moon is big and round tonight... the biggest you'll ever see all year... look at it... according to the Duchess of Kent."

I was walking with Tim last night, and the moon at Penn State was centered right in the middle of this perfectly circular cloud formation. It was totally bizarre. Luckily, I had my digital camera on me, but unluckily, it couldn't take the picture well enough. However, there were some photography students out there, and I gave them my email address to send some of the pictures to if they turned out well on their super-spiffy cameras.
