What's the first thing you remeber about PPT?

A while back a 'what's the first thing you remember about playing neopets' topic was created. So it's only logical that this one should follow.



I remember being not going to the Misc. Disc. board for a long time after a joined because I thought it was going to be all relationship stuff because of the thing about 'me best friend's girl friend' in the description.
And I thought stampsyne was some sort of ppt goddess because she had so many stars. It took me ages to realise it was her avatar...

Hmm. I can remember bits and pieces, but the first real memory I (I think it's the first, anyway) I can summon up is RPing on Glass Charm's neopets faerie RP. I wrote out my bio and everything nicely and very Mary Sue-ishly, then promptly went to business and godmodded absolutely everyone's character within the span of one post.

And I thought I was a fantastic writer, too.

Same goes for when I first started making graphics- I thought I was some amazing graphics prodigy, but alas, not so. I remember my very first set being rated. I didn't really take the criticism well.

Oh, the joys of joining a large, chaotic forum at the age of 12. (I joined Jan. 29, 2003- I'm 15 now, and will have been on the forum for 4 years soon. No, wait. That means I was 11 when I joined. Woah. I didn't realize that before.)

I haven't been here too long, but the welcome I got on this forum was much warmer than on a lot of other forums where you have to earn people's respect before they talk to you.

I remember that some PPT mod survivor game was going on, and I voted off CSK or something like that because his avatar scared me.

Signing up for a RP. It was a Neopets cop one or something... I used my Chomby back then, and I imagined she had Aisha ears because I had accidently used a magical Chomby plushie on her.

first memory is being too scared to join the werewolf game, but the nTom encouraged me to join, and I joined SNak's Simpsons game. I still maintain that it's the best WW game I've played to date x)

I remember being totally confused by so much of what was going on way back in the mists of 2003. It was hard to figure out where to go and what to post around here at first.

Also, I remember the Petpet non-plot. That was horrendous. However, the Pudding Gun came out of that after a few hours of insomniac spamming...er, chatting, so it wasn't completely bad. That whole thing really solidified my love of PPT, though. Really, how could I not love a place where someone would be up at 3 AM and randomly decide to make a new member a blinkie dessert weapon?

Hmm. It's been too long. x.X I still remember what day I joined-- May 8, 2003, baby! My first clear memory is of Lillie, who was then Ten Snow, and her quest to be the PPT Midget.

I don't remember a lot before ASP..And I joined ASP when I had 1000 posts. Sad really. Back then I was a reckless spammer anyways.

I remember entering the PPTMAC and winning with my hippocampus.
I remember Lina Blade being so supertastically awesome (COME BACK LINA! *Cries*)

I remember the Mod survivor thing. I tried to vote off Chrome everytime because I wanted her name. (it's just such a good name!)

I don't remember anything extremely specific, other than PMing Lina like a rabid fangirl, but I do remember constantly being accused of spamming because of my post count on the old forum. It got old extremely fast. ;P

I... can't remember a lot. Nothing is sticking out in my mind, but I do remember that I was here for quite a while before I started visiting all of the different boards (with the exception of the rpg board which always has and always will frighten me) I used to live in the av/sig board and most everything I did early on involved that or the neopets boards.

Okay I am going to have to really think about this... I'm bound to actually remember something. Well, maybe not considering I can't remember most of my life, but I should at least try... later... if there's time.

I remember tons of other stuff too, but that was the earliest.
