Do you use the shoutbox on PPT?

It seems to me that the shoutbox and the forums are two completely different worlds, so to speak. I was curious as to how many people from the forum are using it.
I've never really used the shoutbox myself; sometimes the people on the shoutbox seem too neo-boardy (it's an adjective if I want it to be).

No, I don't use it, but that's because I never visit the main site.

And I understand what you mean about it being "neo-boardy".

A bit offtopic, but I kinda miss the chatbox that was here at the bottom of the forums...

No, not really. I might if something in there seemed really interesting, but I haven't used the shoutbox yet.

I used the chatbox a lot in its day, though. I miss it.

I have never used it. I agree with the 'neo-boardy' comment, and I never visit the main site anyway.

PPT and PPT Forums are like 2 separate worlds heh and I'm not a holder of the subtle knife if you know what I mean

Me rarely.

I've used it once or twice in the past... maybe even more... but I have to agree, the shoutbox and the forum are two COMPLETELY different worlds... I haven't used the shoutbox in a while though

Seriously never noticed it before, but I immagine I'll not use it, I use the one on Transfans now and then, but that's mainly for the crazy coversations that spark up on it.

It took me like 10 seconds to remember that there's a shoutbox...
Obviously from this, you can see I never use it. If there was a "no chatspeak" rule, then I might.

It's not that I forgot that we had a shoutbox... but I actually forgot that we had a main site. I have not been there in forever. I really never went there much to begin with. So no, no shoutboxing for me.

funny. i just posted there myself.

i usually post a "shout" in the shout box, and don't really use it as a chatting device. tha'ts what i use this forum for. the "shouts", like the one i just gave, as usually helpful notices to all that are seeing the board.

I seriously oppose shoutboxes, just because of my experience with them.

I go to the forums (obviously), and I'm a full time operator at the IRC chat.

That's good enough for me!
