OK, I need to decide this quick.
I have two titles for my novel for NaNoWriMo 2006. "Lights, Camera, Chickens?!" and "Lights, Cameras, Chickens?!". I've been varying between the two, but now I have to come to a decision. I can't decide, so it's up to you guys.
Basically, I want to know which one you like better. It's not that hard of a choice.
Thankies. =D

I'd have the S. I know that the original phrase is "lights, camera, action"--but it reads a little bit better as "Lights, Cameras, Chickens?!"
Anyway, my opinion and 3 cents will buy you a nickel.

I'd go with the S.
Having plural, singular, plural is just weird. You should have it as plural, plural, plural.

I like it better w/o the S. I like the Plural, Singular, Plural set up; and I think most people will get that it's a play on the original phrase and not think it's odd the second is singular.
If you do use the S, people may be like "Hey, there should only be one S!" and think you unintentionally made a mistake instead of doing it on purpose.
A bit of trivia I learned in my writing class: The best-selling books have either one word titles, or five work titles. Of course, my novel has a two word title.

"Lights, Cameras, Chickens" is definitely the best

Lights Camera Action
If you wanted it to be a play on the phrase I'd suggest that. If you wanted a less direct play on the words, and the Lights, the Cameras and Chickens will become something significant, Id suggest the other.

No S, if you want a play on the original phrase, which is only one camera. It has a much better ring to it, IMO.

I say ditch the S. If you're playing off the traditional phrase, it just makes sense to keep the singular form.

No s. It just doesn't flow as well with it.

I agree with no "S" so it's just a play on the original phrase.

No "S". My reason is same as the other people; the play with words would sound more obvious. And it does sound right IMO.

No 's', I tried to picture it with the s, but it just didn't seem to ... go.

I take it there was supposed to be a poll with this? Ho hum.
I really like "Lights, Camera, Chickens?!". Especially since the band would be a low-budget thing (would they be low-budget though?), and probably couldn't afford more than one camera.
