How fast is your internet-connection-speed-thingo?

I was just wondering because there has been major problems with mine recently, well not real problems, just... annoyances.

The plane I'm currently on (Cable Standard Unlimited, Bigpond, Telstra) offers 8MBps until you exceed 10GB in downloads, then slows to 64kBps after that. I just upgraded to a new plan (Cable EXTREME 20GB) which offers 17MBps, and you just pay extra (15 cents per MB) when you go over 20GB. So I was just wanting to compare with others, I have no idea if that's fast, but I do know that 64kBps is bloody annoying.

256k. Exceptionally slow cause in New Zealand all p2p is shaped. I still go through about 60 gigs a month though...

My speed is probably slower than that since I'm operating on a wireless connection. And the speed back at university is A LOT faster than that, thanks to fiber optics.

Bah, at university my download speed has been up to 25,000 kbps.

And latency is I believe how long it takes the download/upload signals to go. Or something.
